If they can negotiate the culteral gap, let them be

At this stage of ages, I don't see anything wrong with it as long as they are both happy. A 28 year old man is GENERALLY mature enough to handle a 35 year old women, i think. At this point, age is really not a factor, the relationship working and happening is the only what matters. However, if you would have told me a 25 year old woman with a 18 year old boy... than I would say wait until he's at least 21 - 22. :-)

I say go for it. If you like him and he likes you then why not. It is not like your 24 and he is 17... you are oth adults, and 28 isn't really THATmuch younger. Older men have been dating younger women for centuries, so why should you not date a younger guy? Look at Demi and Ashton.... they seem very happy and in love. I SUPPORT YOU and all women in this situation. Hell... you may even be able to teach him a few things. ;) You know it may be the best thing to ever happen to you as far as relationships go- you are both is a prime period in your lives. If he has a brother, send him my way. We can double date! LOL I am 34 and looking for that younger, yet mature man. ;) Have fun!

Normally I would say age does not matter. However, a guy at 28 is just becoming a man and does not have the maturity level that a 35 yr old woman has. You can teach him alot, but the guy needs someone closer to him in chronicle age. For you, it is an ego trip.

Wow, I know a 38 year old woman dating (on and off) a 28 year old guy. It was good for about a year and then the differences became apparent. The sex and attraction was good while it lasted but ultimately he was not mature enough for her. But they remain friends.

Nothing wrong with it. They are both of age and can date legally. 35 year old men date 28 year old women and sometimes younger.

You go, girl! Don't think twice about your age when you both beyond 25 - it doesn't matter to anyone but the busy-bodies. If you meet each other's needs can communicate openly and honestly, just be happy and grateful for the opportunity to have a great relationship. Good luck and God bless!

No big deal, really - thats not a big gap, especially at that age. 28 and 21 would probably only work if the man was older (generalization, I know), because 21 year old men are usually still very immature.

I think it's great! As long as you're both compatible and have mutual attraction, then it shouldn't be an issue. I've dated a guy younger than me (by 10 years) and the only issue we had was there was a bit of a "gender" gap. For the most part, we were able to learn from one another.

Are you talking about me? That's about the ages we were "back then" and I see nothing wrong with that. In fact, he was quite "mature" at 28, and I was "naive" at 35 (sheltered life), so it came out about right. I say, go for it !!!

as in all relationships, it depends on the girl and the guy. i'm assuming you mean a relationship that is moving to potentially serious, exclusive etc? what matters more is where the two people are in their lives. and do their future paths complement each other? be honest about any perceived problems. do your family and friends object--beyond the question of age? is he mature? not followeed by "he's mature for his age." just, is he mature? yes or no. good luck
