I have almost failing grades and i need to get them up to at least a decent level so my parents aren't mad at me. They want me to have at least only 1 D. No lower. I everything else to be a C at the least because my parents dont want to find me as one of those people that are in spring laziness land.

Study! Yeah, I see you saying "No D'uh", but it is really the only thing that will get you there. But study smart:
1) Get an overview: see what needs to be done to get your grades (make lists)
2) Prioritize the list
3) make a study plan: plan in breaks - youa re learning during the breaks too -your brain is at least (it even works over the studied materila while you sleep)
4) Learn in Bird's View: get an overview of the subject, then study the details (f.ex. Civil War - learn first what it was about and the main course of the war, then concentrate on details, like individual battles)
5) Rinse and Repeat: allow time to repeat what you have learned over and over again
And now - HIT THE BOOKS!
Good Luck!

The only way this can happen is if you have lots of assignments due and exams within the next week, and you put a lot of work into them. The only exception would be if your teachers told you earlier that you could do extra credit, and you do that now. Grades can't just magically move upwards because you want them to.

You could talk to your teachers and ask if you can do extra credit or something, but since you didn't take the time to do any of the work the first time, I don't know why they think you would do it this time either. You made this bed. Now lie in it.

You can ask your teachers if they can help. Otherwise you are screwed. You can't bring your grades up in a week. Tough lesson-be prepared to be grounded this summer.

first ask your teachers if they can find a few minutes for you one on one. then when you meet with your teacher, ask what you can do to improve your grades. Then do it... Be sincere and teachers will notice you and might even give you a break next time they grade your paper.. oh ya don't for get to study.

ask your teacher if you can do some extra credit and if not then ask if you can redo some of your old papers that you got a really low score on...
