It feels like a very sharp pain under my right side rib cage, and it shoots around my back, up my right arm, and down my right leg. Every step is painful, being in the fetal position does not help.

All ulcers are different. depends onseverity. I have a slight one. when it acts up, feels like someone is standing on me. others feel heart burn. if it doesnt clear up, go to the doc. Especially if there is blood in your stool

You do not have an ulcer. Pain from an ulcer is centered in the abdomen. It sound like you have a pinched nerve.
