Since there are a few Orthodox Jews on my list, I'd have to have it catered by someone who keeps Kosher -- so I couldn't cook. I'm fond of unusual foods, like curries and Japanese cuisine -- so it would probably be a mixture of foods from around the world.

Since I WOULD know all the people that I was inviting I would go with all sorts of appetizers which would be their total favorite dish. This way everyone could sample everything & see why each of them loved the different dishes that where made special for each one of my guest. I don't think you could beat that if you knew I was going to be making your favorit meal!

Pulled Pork or Peanut chicken....or Maybe Osso Bucco.
Pulled Pork Recipe:
Place 4lbs pork shoulder in a crockpot. Add 1 cup cola (for the acids. You can also use equal parts vinegar and carbonated water) fill with water. Cook until it falls completely apart (4-8hrs). Drain. Pull apart with forks. Drench with BBQ sauce (Dinosaur BBQ, although I used Wegman's brand Memphis and it was heavenly, too)and mix until well blended. Let sit for 30 minutes (if you can) serve on rolls.

2)the main dish would be my enchiladas three different kinds
chicken, chroizo with potato's, cheese and onion (i would make the enchilada sauce home made) also side dished would be rice and beans
3)some Mexican bread assorted and coffee, chocolate milk,or white milk

Lasagna...I make the sauce from scratch and put little meatballs in it with 5 cheeses...never had a leftover yet. It usually takes two days to make.

Well, the dead ones wouldn't eat much, and the living wouldn't have much of an appetite after seeing them.
