They are false prophets and God has commanded us not to listen to them. A good number of them are double minded. They say one thing and do the opposite. Other than that, they make decent neighbours because they are quiet.

I use to think that they were a cult and did not believe in Jesus. I started to read some of their literature and realized that they were correct in their teaching, I excepted a bible study with them and learned so much from the bible. I had been in a few different faiths but none could make the pieces of the puzzle( so to speak) fit together and finally make sense. I've been a witness for 10 years.

I very much admire their adamant pacifism. I wish the rest of Christianity had adapted that view. I think that is the authentic Christian calling.

However, I don't care for their changed bible; I can read Greek, and I find the NWT alterations blatant and horrendous! Especially John 1:1 and the use of 'Jehovah' in the NT when the Greek text clearly reads 'kyrios' (Lord.)

They are good, hardworking people, just like everyone else. They may be somewhat of a miority but i have a few jehovah witness friends and they are just like everyone else except they dont stand for the national anthem. I wonder why you ask..... i hope you dont have anything against certain groups, only single people should be held accountable for their actions, not a whole group.

I love Jehovah Witnesses because they are my worldwide brother and sisterhood in 236 lands. when people say the pledge to the flag, we do stand but will not pledge the flag because we only worship Jehovah God. I guess people would say Jesus Christ pushed it on you also. we do what Jesus Christ commanded us to do at Matthew 28 verse 19 and 20.

I have a live and let live attitude about other faiths.

That said, I read one of their pamphlets and recognized blatant lies about the Catholic Church, so I am no longer neutral about the faith. Discussion about different faiths is healthy, but we should not lie about others beliefs.

I have no patients for them at my door either, I tell them nicely that I am not interested and if that does not work, I shut the door on them.

I don't hate them though!

Peace!

Jehovah's Witnesses are the people who believe Jesus is coming back to earth. This planet will be destroyed soon. If you don't believe in Jesus Christ, you will burn in hell. They use fear to manipulate your mind and convert you. They are good people just like any other people but I disagree with their belief and techniques.
