it's probably because it's a protistant flag and just because your a christian doesn't mean your protistant.

and don't believe the hype. Not everyone is a christian even though sometimes i think the US would convert everyone if they could. it's a pain to walk out the front door sometimes because you know before the day is over you are going to hear something about how you're wrong for not being a christian but that doesn't mean it's a christian country.

Who said it was a Christian nation? We have separation of church and state, which is supposed to mean that religion does not interfere with the way the government conducts business. That's why it's not on military uniforms. I think a lot of Atheist military personnel would have something to say about that. I would.

Christians have a flag? Damn, I need to get out more. Thank GOD this isn't a Christian nation but the major religion in the US is Christianity and many of the laws do have a Christian tilt to them. Sad but true. Shall we riot in the streets now? I got my torch and my combat boots ready! Just say the word.

Because America is not really a Christian nation.
It was founded on those basic principles, but the government decided there would be a separation of church and state. This is highly misunderstood though.
There are Americans of every religion.

will you people PLEASE learn what the hell the separation of Church and state is???

it is about NOT letting a RELIGION RUN THE GOVERNMENT, not a catch-all excuse for every time some Christan crusader decided that the ten commandments need to go back up on the lawn, or some nut decided that someone praying in a school they are too old to attend offends them...

as to why, its the US armed forces so they wear the American flag, period...

-_- Not everyone is Christian. America is the land of diversity, it would be wrong to have that on military uniforms. Furthurmore, there is separation of religion from these things. Pfff..I'm starting to doubt that now however. What is this flag anyways!?

There is a difference between X-ian & Christ-ian,
the difference between Awful Lawful & Grace Us.

It's a joke ww, that they elected G.W. Bush twice.
G.W.Bush's rod of iron 'rule of law' is Destructive.
It only made war mongers and undertakers richer.

False X-ianity is about Division<-Sacrifice<-Law.
True Christianity is about Grace->Mercy->Peace.

USA has more division & violence than any nation.
Their brand of X-ianity has made Atheism poplular.
Their Bi-Polar Law Law God isn't even believable.
USA also has more mental illness than any nation.
Coincidentally USA also has more violent weather.
Bottom line: USA remembles Baby-lon the Great.
Such is twice fallen to Great<-Greater<-Greatest.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Protestants from Coney Island invented that flag. Probably between hot dog eating contests, no doubt.

(Matthew 7:21-23) 21 “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. 22 Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ 23 And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness.

(Matthew 7:13-14) 13 “Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.
