Sort of . . . I feel part of the Web of Right Relationships among Regin, Folk, and Soil. In other words I know, on more than simply an intellectual level, that I am intrinsically linked to the ancient godhs of my Folk, to all my ancestors and kin, both living and dead, and to the inhabiting spirits of the landscape around me . . . and that I stand in good relationship with them all through gifting within the traditions of my ancestral culture.

But yes, the question is a bit "hippie," lol. The last time I felt connect THAT way, several tabs of good blotter were involved. :-)

Yes, while conducting Freyrsblotar.

Transcendence (philosophy), climbing or going beyond some philosophical concept or limit
Transcendence (religion), the concept that God is a being who is entirely above the created universe. Man this is a deep one to answer. Yes I do feel connected to the universe, and using the religious description I do agree to the meaning. I gave it a shot. Have a good day.

When I still lived with my parents I had stomach pains. Not indisgestion like pains, but lower. I also constantly had the feeling that I had to pee, but often wouldn't, or just a little would come out. I got a variety of tests done, including a not-too-pleasent prostate exam. The doctor couldn't find anything wrong with me.

Later I found out my Dad had a kidney stone that whole time, and that my symptoms were that of having a kidney stone.

Q#1: Yes.
Q#2: To some extent, yes, and to some extent no. It depends on how you define "connected to the universe."
Q#3: Define transcendence. If you mean "to rise above or go beyond the limits of" or " to outstrip or outdo in some attribute, quality, or power," then yes. I believe I have. If you mean "to be prior to, beyond, and above (the universe or material existence)," then no. That is crazy.

No. I am part of the universe, but I feel no special connection to it. No sense of oneness with it.

The closest I've ever come is when I grasped a difficult concept and finally understood it. The aha moment.

You know, I don't. I"m too caught up with working and surviving and writing in Yahoo R&S forum, that I don't give the universe much thought. Besides, anyplace where I can't breathe naturally is not high on my agenda.
