*shrugs* I'll probably be on meds and close to senile, so if I need to just blurt out something about believing in Jesus to go to heaven, why not.....the 70-80 years before that, I'll live a wild and crazy agnostic life where I seek all sorts of amazing life experiences with different views.....have wild sex....do some drugs.....drink some....party.....have kids.....fight....etc....

The problem is this: After living like Hell your whole life, would you even have the will to suddenly and sincerely turn to the God you've rejected during that time?

It is highly unlikely, because as Paul says in the letter to the Romans, "Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done." (Romans 1:28)

well its a little more complicated than that.
Its one thing to not know God and then accept him versus knowing him all along and denying him.
Its such a fine line and the only one who can truly give you the answers you seek are God. I know that if your heart is true and 100% repentful and full of love for God and Jesus you will be saved.
Also on the other hand to think that you must reject God to be wild and Crazy and have fun is ludicrous. There is nothing more freeing and satisfying as having someone who loves you no matter what, someone who has your back no matter what, is there to pick you up and dust you off no matter what. God does that. Christians live life pretty full and complete. I hope you don't die from the risks caused by the risky behaviors you do. God forgives all that stuff though. Besides Christians can drink, they can party, they have wild sex, have kids, fight... It's just a little different. The wild sex is with your spouse. The drinking is in moderation not glutonous...

I know BTW that you are just being a smarty pants but with all sincerity you can have all that you desire and more with God in your life.

You don't know that you'll *have* 70-80 years. You could die five minutes from now. We are not guaranteed tomorrow.

And yes, you *could* do it at the last minute, but who's to say you'll remember to? Also, it's important to note that you have to do it with a repentant heart and put your trust in Jesus Christ.

Even the thief on the cross (who repented at the last minute) next to Jesus recognized his own wretchedness.

So yeah, you *could* live your life like there's no God or like you're going to wait until the last minute. Just keep in mind that you have no idea when that last minute will be, or if you will be conscious enough to make that decision.

Please don't wait. You probably wouldn't sell one or both of your eyes (or ears, or arms, etc) for a million dollars. How much more is your soul worth? This is so important. Don't try to wait until the last minute. You might not make it.

Absolutely it would be possible to be "wild and crazy" end up on your last breath, accept Jesus and be saved. This is Arminian theology, and our Arminian friends that have answered your question cannot deny this and be consistent with that theology.

Calvinism would leave judgment in the hands of God who would have chosen you through the work of the Holy Spirit at the last moments of your life, and yes, there would be plenty of sincerity, and you would die headed to Heaven because of the work of the Father (not yourself) who had ordained your salvation from before the foundations of the world. Your salvation, then, would have already been in place, from eternity, to eternity, and God would not have missed a beat.

There is the real possibility that you will be so focused on having wild sex, doing drugs, drinking, partying and living a wild and crazy life, that it will never enter your mind to accept Jesus upon your last breath.

Why would something like that enter your mind?

This is not what I view and GOD will view as becoming a Christian according to the scriptures. I doubt that you will ever be able to make it there. To become a Christian:
1. We must HEAR GOD’s WORD. - Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
2. We are told to BELIEVE. - To the Prison guard in Acts 16:31 Paul and Silas said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."
3. We must REPENT (turn from) of our sins. - Acts 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.
4. We are told to CONFESS CHRIST before men. - Matthew 10:32 "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.
5. We are to enter the waters and BE BAPTIZED. - Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
6. We are told to CONTINUE TO BE FAITHFUL until death. - Revelation 2:10b Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
Send me a note if you have questions. Have a Great day.

I would not put stock in the ability of having a deathbed experience

FOR,

now a days, people die without ever getting to say a word,

NO LESS

even think of repenting.

It may be possible,

BUT

I would not put my hope on God being that merciful that he will let you be able to get a deathbed experience and then enter heaven.

Possible, yes. Probable, no. What if you die suddenly? Besides that, salvation is more than just "blurting something about believing in Jesus"

i'm nevertheless attempting to wrap my suggestions around this tale. yet as quickly as we've been 80 years old and sitting in a pair of chairs on a porch smoking cigars and ingesting ice chilly beer it may be greater uncomplicated...intense high quality tale

the interesting thing to me is that you say you can accept jesus by just muttering something about it before you die. news for you, jackass: jesus doesn't hold a giant stethescope to the sky waiting to hear that someone believes. it's your heart that's going to be judged, and your soul. you're already going to hell, because what you're talking about isn't repentance....it's blasphemy. so have your fun now, but don't expect the big man to pull your *** out just because you have an "oh ****" moment.
