Your diet is correct and so are your exercises. Personally, my calves never looked better than when I was doing step aerobics :) You may not want to use too much weight though with the exercises and do more cardio to burn calories. Don't forget that muscle weighs more than fat so weight loss may not be evident but you'll sure be toned!

I have the same problem..and I agree with the first response about Jenny Craig. If you're willing to spend some money to lose the weight then you should definitely join the program. Or if you rather not spend the money then make sure your calorie intake everyday is around 1500. Include 3 meals and 3 snacks. Drink only water...Diet cola tends to give you a bloated look even if you dont gain weight from it. Swimming is also good for the legs :)

cardio is the only fat burning exercise and you should do it 4-6 times a week for 30-50min. squats, lunges etc will tone your muscles but they dont burn fat - so they will makes those areas look bigger since there is gona be more muscle underneath the layer of fat.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

you are doing excersises to gain muscle in your calves which you have proclaimed are oversized as is, i am not sure that i understand that one
if you do cardio you will loose fat, the body is a marvel of science, do the cardio and your body will know where to drop of the fat cells.
and yes change you diet - you need to eat 3500 calories less per week than you burn in order to loose a lb / week.
if you can not do it on your own after 6-8 weeks of trying join a program jc or ww
