I'm a small business owner and have been for 5 years in my 5 years experience I've hired lots of people but for some reason all the fellow Americans i hired ended up stealing money unlike the immigrants mostly Hispanics who work harder and never once stole a penny from me. this is no exaggeration and i don't mean to offend any body. i just wanted to share my experience with y'all. my point is we need a guest worker program where immigrants can come here legally and fill those minimum wage jobs Americans aren't willing to do. immigrants do those jobs more efficiently for less money which also keeps our economy strong. many businesses cant afford paying more than the minimum wage.

If you're not willing to pay a living wage for the work you're having done, you shouldn't be in business. If you're hiring illegals for the price cut you should be fined. If people steal from you, perhaps that's the only way they can survive on the wages you're willing to pay. Why should you be allowed to get richer on the sweat of people who can't afford to buy food? Are you being just a little self absorbed in your efforts at free enterprise? I'm not trying to offend you but that's what I'm hearing in your statements.

That's really an unfair statement.I have worked for low wages in my life but haven't ever stole from my employer. You just had bad employees and have had good Hispanic employees but some day you may run across that bad Hispanic and I hope that doesn't change your mind about Hispanics as it has about your fellow Americans. There is good and bad in all cultures. Please don't lump everyone together.

Nothing wrong with hiring honest people (legal immigrants). I would hire honest people too. You mentioned hiring "immigrants" so it's assumed they are LEGAL.

Just don't be hiring any illegal aliens (they are NOT immigrants), if you do, hope someone reports you and you end up in jail or put out of business..

i am 47 years old. earn 27,000. worked for my company for 14 years.
i do not have a mortgage or rent. $357. car loan.
no one to support.
i have $3000 on credit cards.
i switched from cable Internet to DSL and soon it looks like dial up.
i dropped HBO, now i will be turning off cable.
i no longer use my dryer, clothes are left on the washer to dry.
i only use the same towel to bath with all week to cut back on laundry.
i unplug my microwave when not in use to save electricity being used by the clock when it is plugged in.

I AM SLOWING STARVING TO DEATH BECAUSE PEOPLE LIKE YOU WANT A GUEST WORKER PROGRAM SO YOU CAN STAY FAT AND HAPPY.

immigrants dont steal because everything is given to them on a silver platter.
Americans steal from people like you because you dont pay them enough to eat.

I have observed similar bits of evidence, though I can hardly add the word ALL to either claim. I will say, all the immigrants involved in MY experiences were LEGAL immigrants, not criminal drug-pushers who stole their way into the U.S.A.

Hire trustworthy people. If you hire illegals, you along in jail for doing so. And if you start paying a higher wage, instead of
being a greedy bastard you wouldn't have that problem..

Americans don't need the job as badly as immigrants do so they don't care if they get caught stealing and get fired. Plus, how about if you were to report the immigrant for stealing, don't they get a harsher punishment than a citizen would?
