The pain of childbirth was the result of sin.

What does intelligent design have to do with childbirth? Intelligent design refers to the creation of the universe and by extension the origin of the human species, not the mechanism by which indviduals are born. They pain comes from the fact that women are asked to pass a creature the size of a watermelon through an opening the size of a lemon.

Okay....yes, before people intelligently designed modern procedures for child birth many women died, or...gave birth in pain. What is the point? Are you trying to argue against evolution? Are you a strict, seven day creationist? In days past when midwives were allowed to practice, before men decided to declare them all witches, many less women died in childbirth or suffered in pain.
Sorry, it does not work for me.

I do wish some people would spend a little time researching before they ask questions like this.
And no, childbirth was not the death factor, sin was and always has been.
God designed us! And the scripture tells you the answer if you would just read it.

I won't argue for "intelligent design" since the whole concept is illogical to me, but c'mon... tell me how pushing a baby UPHILL, flat on mom's back, then if she didn't deliver as fast as ole doc thought she should, it's off to surgery, was "intelligent" until women started hollering for logic AND morphine. Just my two cents...

Pain from childbirth is the result of two things..... 1.The fact that you're pushing a HUMAN BEING through a tiny little hole and 2.The fact that humans' skeletons weren't designed for us to walk upright.

that is a very weak arguement if you realize. in Genesis 3 Eve was cursed with child birth pains. Design vs change.
and also, check the ages of those women who died. were they 14, or 40?

Genesis 3:16- To the Woman he said: I will greatly multiply your sorrow and conception, In pain you shall bring fourth children. Because of Sin woman must now face pain in labor. It's part of the curse.

Look in the Webster's Dictionary. The word "intelligent" is NOT synonomous with the word "perfect", ie, flawless.
