Because most Christians are close-minded douchebags and don't like any new concepts besides false text in a book. Just my opinion.

I am a Christian and I am not terrified of Homosexuality. We are just against it and point out to people that is wrong for it is up to them if they want to except it or not.
The reason we know and believe it is wrong is because God created not only man and women, but also something very special which is marriage and He states clearly what the role of men and women are in a marriage.
you see marriage is a way of life and reproduction. their for Homosexuality goes against Gods creation which is marriage and the Bible also states it is a sin.
That is why Homosexuals can't have babies and a normal marriage can.
remember one thing telling someone Homosexuality is wrong is not judging someone (for saying all Homosexuals are such and such is) this is just a statement of the truth.
it is just like telling a killer that killing is wrong.
Think about it. we (Christians) will not vote for something we believe is wrong and if a person is a homosexual they should keep this (Homosexuality) to them selves. their is no need for use to be seing it.
God Bless.

I'm not scared of homosexuality. You can practice that if you want in the UK. We're all accountable to God though, but Jesus not a righteous performance is our Saviour. Many will go to heaven, with sins paid by Christ, but some will receive great rewards, others will get there as if passing through a fire, with all their earthly success burnt away as stubble.
I was scared of Islamic terrorism for a couple of months, as the 7/7 Edgware road bomb was on my commuter route.
I get anxious and at times frightened .. life's a journey where one gets in the light more and more.

Ephesians 5:3[kjv]Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people.
JESUS loves you.
www.fathersloveletter.com listen to it.
www.e-water.net/loveletter_en.html watch it.
John 3:16[kjv] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
so when we believe in JESUS we have eternal life.JESUS lived a sinless life and gave up his life as a sacrifice so we can be sin free. Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with the blood JESUS shed on the cross.
With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.JESUS loves u and wants u to be saved.

No! They only have this holy fear of displeasing Him. And since the only book on earth which claims divine inspiration speaks very much against it, that it is unnatural, then they would obviously abstain.
What would happen, in your opinion, if all gay men were all stuck on a far away island for the rest of their natural lives? And the same with women?
How long do you figure it would be before no one would even speak of this again?
Problem solved! In the sense that within less than a century, there would be none left! to speak about!
Isn't that enough evidence??? that God might have a point???
To Punch!
What on earth makes you think that the latest shrink would know better than God himself? What makes you think that anyone is born perfect? And what furthermore, could ever give you the impression that anyone is born in any way the way that he or she should grow up to be... Growing up is a process, which depending on time and cirmcumstances, dictates what ideas will be cultivated in what mind... Unless one feeds this best computer of all (between our two ears) hopefully with accurate knowledge and truths, what do you expect? On the other hand, cultivate the fruits of God's spirit from Galatians 5: 21, 22 and you will prosper in every way!
And to the one who claims that the priests don't approve of it yet do it to boys, again, who said that they were the ones who truly represented God on earth? Wake up! already!(Revelation 18: 4)

OK, I'm going to speak for millions of Christians here. We are NOT scared/terrified of homosexuality or of gay people!!!! We believe in God and honor Him and live by His word. He says that homosexuality is wrong, a sin, an abomination. He created two genders with the intention that these two genders be together. When mankind/humankind decided for themselves that God's idea of creation is wrong and they decided that same sex relationships are better, they are going against God's will. We, as Christians, are telling gays what God's word is and pray that they turn away from their sinful lifestyles and ask for forgiveness. We don't want them to go to hell because they want gay sex while on earth. Sins of the flesh is the greatest sin of the world. And with all the porn, sex toys, promotion of gay sex in movies, TV shows, etc., this sin is influencing our society and Christians are also being tempted by it. We want it to stop.
We are not terrified of homosexuality. We are terrified that so many souls will go to hell because of it. We are only trying to save some soul. God willing.

It is sad indeed when a Christian allows his " outward man " to dominates his " inward mad ". Reality check here implys that a Christian must at all times be dominated by his " inward man. " The number one, or primary way that God leads His children is through that " inward witness " A lot of professed Christians today walk around with their heads above the crowds with an air of " self-sufficiency.
Self-sufficiency breeds pride. They compare thenselves to man's standards and consider themselves " pretty clean ", so to speak. The problem with that is while they profess to love and bless the Lord and Father, they turn around and curse their fellowman, who have been made in the likeness of God.
" Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethern, these things ought not so to be. " ( James 3:9-10)
Too many professed Christians today do not have an accurate picture of God and they also fail to adhere to God's number one commandment. The commandment which tells us to " love our fellow human beings ".
Forgiveness is another lack that professed Christians rarely do. " Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ, God forgave you..." ( Ephesians 4:32). When we point fingers wer're not only pointing them at the person, but we are pointing at God also.
Many professed Christians measure their success by how many people they lead to Christ, God is more concerned with how faithful we are to Him. Sucess isn't about leading someone to Christ. Success is acting out your Christian life, sharing the gospel, and trusting God for the results. And by sharing I don't mean labeling and pointing fingers, neither condemning others for who or what they are.
As for fear, I cannot fathom a Christain being afraid of homosexuality which in itself is an [ abomination ].
" Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe..." (Prov. 29:25)
And as Jesus said to His disciples while in the middle of a furious squall on the Sea of Galilee, " Why are you so afraid, do you still have no faith...?"
I believe that this is sufficent logic as to the " why's " and the " How come's ", in the way Christians react to homosexuality.

Who's terrified? Christians (along with Muslims, Jews, and other religions) recognize acts of homosexuality as sin, because they BELIEVE what their scriptures tell them. They don't (if they are wise) pass judgment on those who ARE homosexual, recognizing that "ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD". But that doesn't mean it's wrong to call it what it is. SIN.
For the record, I've had homosexual friends, and every gay guy I've ever met was a sweetheart. I love gay people. But sin is sin. Mine and theirs.

I believe in God and the Bible and I am not terrified of homosexuals. I don't believe what they are doing is right. I would still talk and interact with them when our paths cross. That doesn't mean I agree with them, it just means that they are a human being. I will pray for them just as I would anyone else.

Why do gay people try to turn Christians into homophobes? Christians are not afraid of homosexuality, however, God says it is a sin. He disapproves of it, so we do also.
1 Cor. 6:9, 10 "Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God."

We are not terrified. It is a sin and like any sins, we should at least try to repent from it. The word of God is the same for everyone. God does not look at us as "sexual" individuals. We all are His children with different shortcomings. He wants to save us all.
