just say your sorry. if it was something really bad that you did then sometimes sorry might not be enough so go out of your way to show the person that you really do feel bad for what you did. if you cheated on someone or something like that then... good luck!!!

best thing id that just send some flowers with a sorry note and greeting and few beautiful line to say sorry
after sending give a call and say sorry and request to meet and settle things..Hope the person will forgive you.
according to me this is the best way

take his hand and tell that something bad has happened and that it has nothing to do with him and that you made a mistake... that is honesty and it doesn't make you the back stabber.. at least you will feel good about telling him.. if he still wants to be friends then that shows you maybe he did something too..

In many cases we just say I am sorry . I think it will be deeper if you can ask for forgiveness and apologize.
