Well, the first thing you gotta realize is that Satan can't show your or give you anything of any real value. Satan has nothing to offer.
He'll take you into a bar, fill your glass with liqour, tell you to look up the legs of a naked girl and see what she's got.
But when push comes to shove, he's got nothing to offer you.
That's the first thing you have to realize.
Satan's world is empty and devoid of all life.
It's all just window dressing. It's 2-D.
A naked girl won't change your life booze won't solve your problems. When all is said and done you get a few seconds of jolts but then you're right smack dab back in reality and you can't escape that.
God never promised you heaven on Earth and Satan can't deliver on that either.
Yeah, he can show you a good time for an hour or two, but after that there is reality.
You can't escape reality.
God expects you to have a good time in reality without the pleasures. The pleasure is from doing.
Jesus said when asked to carry the packs 5 miles carry them 10 miles.
You're expect to have a good time doing that.
God and Jesus expect a lot of you.
No warrantees expressed or implied.
And remember, when the going get's rough, Satan is going to desert you. Vanish in thin air. And you'll be left there alone to face whatever fate awaits you.
It's all about how strong or weak you are.
Decide if you're a wealking.

A temptation to sin is a test from God to make you stronger. For example to learn to be Patient... someone must be there to test you with impatience... then THAT is where you will apply all that you have learnt and pray for.
Being a Christian is not about singing songs in an air conditioned hall, wearing our sunday dresses.. it is living with God in your heart when you are out of church living the other 6 days within regular people while you lead a regular but Christ-ly life...
Whoever said being Christian is easy is a liar, because it is not... but although it is not easy, it should be a challenge that makes you happy... like suffering through intensive exercise if you want to achieve a body that would put Brad Pitt to shame.
It is an effort that one will happilly suffer through in order to attain the reward that waits at the end.

Read your Bible and you will find something out that is really nice: NO ONE is perfect. God does not expect you to be perfect. In fact, it is virtually impossible for you not to sin. The whole point of being a Christian is not to be perfect, though you should strive to be as much as possible, but rather that you are FORGIVEN! Stop trying to do the impossible and just be the best person you can. Be a good friend and family member. Pray. Maybe volunteer in your community. When you mess up, say you are sorry. If Christ and Paul are to be believed, then that is good enough.

Sydney,
We are all subject to sin and we are told that "All have sinnwed and fall short of the glory of GOD". That does not make it right. It is something that we must always work on and ask HIS Forgivness for. Continually read, study, and Pray. This will assist you in growth. Whenever possible spend time with strong Christians and be at the LORD's Services every opportunity that you have. You can mature into a strong Christian in time. Have a wonderful day and a glorious weekend!
Thanks,

This world is run by the evil one. He delights in keeping you from growing as a Christian and does all he can to tempt you and make you doubt.
We often think that because we've accepted Christ, that's all we have to do and we'll be perfect Christians for the rest of our lives. But Satan is always there, wearing away at us.
So we have to work hard to become better Christians.
"Watch your thoughts, they become your words. Watch your words, they become your actions. Watch your actions, they become habits. Watch your habits, they become character. Watch your character, it becomes your destiny"
Your thoughts are what comes out of your head. The best way to guard your thoughts is to keep good things going into your head.
Read your Bible, go to church, join a fellowship group, do a Bible study class, hang out with Christian friends. It's a lot easier to grow as a Christian when it's what everyone around you is doing, too.
The weekend is coming. Make sure you go to church this Sunday. If you haven't found a church you like, shop around. There are thousands of churches out there, find one with music you like, or people you relate to, but find one. Then get involved. The more of your time you take up with the works of God, the closer you will get to Him.

This is our struggle. This is everyone's struggle, but as Christians God allows us to be convicted by it. It's not guilt, it's grace and conviction it bring out feelings in us that while it does make us feel young--believe me I am struggling with this now myself--it is important for our growth in God, and our understanding of faith.
My pastor just spoke on this and it cut right through to my heart. Look into it; Matthew 5:3-4. Sermon on the Mount.
This is such a huge issue you bring up. You're not alone, and you're not young. Not anymore than many, many other Christians. Even those who think they aren't are constantly being refined by our savior. This relationship is about growth and it is ongoing. Keep moving forward, live through the sins and the convictions and spend time in prayer and with others who share your understandings of these concerns.

Yeah, but it doesn't get "better" so to speak. If a "Christian" or preacher tells you it does over time, run far and fast! You see, God is showing you sin in your life, and as you're putting it away, you move closer to the light of His Holiness. Then what do you see? More SIN! sheesh, right? But that is how the illumation/sanctification thing works... a rather rough metaphor, but think of it like a dimmer light switch in a room. You can't see the condition of the room until you begin to increase the light--then you see all of the dust and dirt. The light never stops illuminating on this side of eternity. So if your pastor tells you it has for him, you should run.

Whenever you fall from God's grace, just remember my favorite song from Bob Carlisle, "We Fall Down". There is a lyric in this song that says, "the saints are just the sinners who fall down and get up". Just remember that you are NOT perfect, only God is. You may fall back into sin but repent, pick yourself back up again and live like the person God has made you through the sacrifice of His Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ. I will be keeping you in my prayers.
God Bless,
Eric

You are not alone believe me. God is there for you always. Put your faith in Him and trust Him. God knows whats best for you and He will bring you whats best for you. God has so many plans for you. You just need to ask God what He has in store for you! I would recommend a book that I think you should read. It's a great book for new believers. It's called "Know Why You Believe" by Paul Little. I read this book and it has some really great points about who God is and it talks about the different theories that many people believe and what the Bible says about it. I loved this book and I hope you can read it too. God has big plans for you so don't feel discourage. Go to God for strength. May God Bless You! =)

Many many prayers for you today!
We live in Babylonian times and it is full of evil.
Babylon was called the "Great Prostitute" with all the evilness and worldly possessions. Is this world not the same as Babylon? Yes it is, look around at all the sin.
We all sin and fall short of the glory of God. He knows we are mere humans and we sometimes fall for Satans temptations.
I am in the world but not part OF it. We must stand strong as Christians and stay focused on our Father and His Word.
Read your Bible each day, stay in passage, especially in psalms.
