I'm an agnostic who believes that the right answers to beginning of life, and the universe have not been found yet. While there are theories I can buy into, I leave my options open.

I think anyone that claims to know the truth is trying to "win."

I guess the irony is I "win" if everyone realizes they know nothing.

Neither. It's not about finding the truth or winning; it's about what is already true. There either is a god, or there is not. Atheism and Theism are opposing positions on this issue.

the atheists = all the people in religion = all the ignorant fundamentalists = all the cults/superstitions = paganism = wicca = xians ARE NOT about finding the Truth...
they're about absolute power, mind-control, brain-washing, being better than the other...................

Yes you are absolutely right...

Buddhism is about conquering and winning over our negative attitudes, harmful habits and hateful thoughts. It is about facing the truth about the negatives we have and enhancing the positives within as well...

in some cases i think its a debate and winning seems to be the issue but not all,not for myself though i enjoy discussing the bible and learn from everyone
