I could have hired my neighbors nanny and gardner for this Jose and Marisol,,they are undocumented
I have enough money and I could have used my free time for other things but I like doing these things sometimes,and they are really not that stressfull and I love the kids, so Im probably not lazy,,but I am racist,,,I am told,,becuase Maria and Jose offered me help and I refused with a polite smile
well I guess Im either lazy or racist,, can't be neither, not to a pro-illegal, if I think I can do all my own chores,,thats just ignorance i guess

I don't think it is racist at all, it is just not lazy. You don't ever have to hire out if you don't want to. Now if you told them no and then hired someone of a different race then you would be but as of now, NO!!! :)

I hate hypothetical sarcasm- its so weak- why don't you just ask your question and stop trying to be so witty.
I don't have enough money and have to do all these things myself, and really resent it when people on TV talking about immigration say that illegal aliens "do all the things we don't want to"
My take is- Who the hell are you to speak on my behalf?!!?- maybe out in your lovely little subburb you can exploit people without a care in the world- but where I live we do for ourselves.

Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD. Why hire anybody, illegal or otherwise, if you're willing to do the work yourself?
I frankly don't see what one has to do with the other-- if you chose NOT to hire them becuase they're illegal (only), it has nothing to do with being a racist.
btw folks-- Hispanics are not necessarily a race unto themselves so we REALLY need to quit with that. Many hispanics are Caucasian, some are mixed, some are "native".

You didn't say if you are white. If you are, then of course you're a racist. You also didn't say if you're male of female. If you're a male, then of course you're a bigot. However, there is hope, If you're a liberal then you're neither and can never be classified as racist or bigoted because you care and double standards don't apply to you.
