My boyfriend told me two days ago that he wanted to take a break. I am utterly broken hearted, but I also realize the mistakes that I made, and how I can improve to make our relationship better.
I feel that I need to put my trust into God, and that I need to trust His plan, and know that He would not put me through this without reason. I am giving my boyfriend space, and I fight with myself every day not to call him or go and see him. While I wait for him to figure out what he wants, I am turning myself over to God.
I'd like to know some Biblical quotes for this time, some words from God that will help to guide me, and keep me strong, and trust not only in His plan, but in my boyfriend to make the right decision, and to be patient with him.
Thank you for your help.

Sweetie, I'm so sorry you are heartbroken! I've been there and just know that it's okay to be angry at God. It's awesome that you recognize that God plans everything for a reason.
"11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." ~Jeremiah 29:11~
Continue to stand in faith and remember to, "trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." ~Proverbs 3:5-6~
And sweetie, if you ever need to talk, please feel free to e-mail me at sweetheart92115@yahoo.com.
God Bless!

Um.... I think the fact that your boyfriend doesn't want to be with you is a clue that God has better things (people) in store for you. Don't cling to what is clearly over- let it go. Your boyfriend made the right decision for HIM-- he doesn't want to be with you. That is His plan. Learn from your mistakes and move on.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
Proverbs 3:5

I don't subscribe to that particular mythology, but I will tell you, from much experience of my own and people I've known, that a break from a relationship is more often than not the percursor to a break-up.
Be prepared to move on...there are many people out there with great partner potential, or perhaps some time as a single would benefit you well. It may be that your bf will decide he'd rather be with you, but have no expectations...relationships shouldn't need breaks for the people to be away from each other. That's a sign that someone is unhappy with the relationship and typically they end up checking out other options to verify to themselves, their feelings for the one they've left dangling on a string.

Here are some verses that might help. Also prayer helps alot. Just talking to God or being quite and listening for his voice. Hope everything works out.
Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
Psalm 33:20
We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield.

Hi, I'm agnostic.
Aside from that now, since I dont use stuff like that to get through anything, I rely on how strong I am and how I dont give myself credit. Maybe try to see your inner strength. You can get past it if you want to.

I forgot where it is exactly, but...
"Out of the strong came forth sweetness; there is sweetness in God's law. and in his love, there is strength."
Im sure the Lord will give you strength with his love and guidance. I applaud you for turning yourself over to God.
