Just curious about how people think or feel about the society these days when it comes down to people having sex with...or just being in a relationship with another person outside their own race/culture...I know of many families who still dissaprove of somthing like this and some are okay with it.

Infact for me, I have been in relationship outside my race and I have no regrets about it. My parents didn't really approve of it, but hey I'm a grown women who can make my own desicions about who I can be with and love. No disrespect towards them or anything, but geesh they need to learn that we are living in a world full of many different beautiful cultures, colors, backround/beliefs, and ect. People are people, they come in may different shapes, size, colors, ect...and that's a beautiful thing...Well depends on their personality and how they act and think too, ect. So, has anyone been with or still with another person outside your race and is it any different from dating your own race?

Of course!
I think that people who wouldnt are a little insecure about their own identity as they find their sense of belonging in just one race excluding all others and are simply narrowing their choices in life.
Its a beautiful world out there, so many different personalities sixes, and colours.
I would find life really boring if i only ate rice all day long.
Sometimes i want pasta or potatoes.

It adds spice to life.
Life is hard enough without restrictiong your circle of companions to one type.

My sex drive doesnt see colour.
My heart doesnt feel colour. I feel love and passion without knowing what it looks like.

If plastic tasted like gourmet food but was shunned upon we would all be closet plastic eaters.

My fragmented mind sees colour and is largely influenced by society and the early relationships i have made.
I dont listen to it too often. I used to and got really depressed as it didnt make sense.

Red, Yellow, Black, Green, Purple...makes little difference, thank God!
Yes, I'm caucasian and have had serious relationships with several other races, one even proposed marriage. I was under several personal & financial problems at the time so my answer was to ask me again under different circumstances; he never did.
Yes, I've dated out of my race and yes, the color doesn't rub off. In fact, I'm rather partial to satiny black skin. It's all beautiful to me since I try to rely on the character and personality more than the color. Wish everyone did the same, but that, I guess, is what makes for our differing life experiences, huh?

Yes I've dated guys from all different nationalities and backgrounds. Even when I was in school my first boyfriend was black and Hispanic. I've dated several Caucasian guys in grade school and well into high school and college. My first husband was Philippine and black we have a beautiful little boy from our relationship. In high school I dated this Asian guy we started off as really good friends and he would hang out at my house all the time and one day things went ion a totally diff direction and we ended up going out nobody knew about for at least two months because we always hung out together so it was the norm and then one day he asked me to meet him by the cafeteria and we where making out and an entire class came walking through the cafeteria it wasn't a big deal at all my girlfriends said they knew all along because we started acting strange my parents never cared as long as we where happy hell my dad's mistress was Caucasian. It's just we raised to know that at the end of the day we all bleed the same color blood and it's a s simple as that.

I think that people should do whatever they feel makes them happy. If being with someone of another race treats who treats them good, makes them feel good, and he/she feels the same then people should mind their own business. I mean someone's race is like the least important thing to making it work or not. I have two mixed kids, and I would be dambed if someone told me that they were wrong becuase being with a black man was wrong. I am white and their dad is black, so what? Are people's lives that boring that they have to focus on such unimportant issues. I tell people that put this much focus on such a little issue that they need to invest in some cable.

Yup, because we're all black when the lights are out. Joke!

No, its not a problem...once you find someone you like, its really not going to matter what the package looks like.

Do you remember your gift wrapping paper from Christmas? Or the gift inside?

I have and will continue. Sure there are differences but the two should be compatible regardless of skin color.

In the words of the great Bob Marley, "a man's skin should be no more significant than the color of his eyes".

If I was attracted to someone of another ethnic or cultural background, then I'd have no problem dating them if we had enough in common. Skin color isn't an issue for me...chemistry/attraction, things in common, and the like are what matters to me.

Besides, we're all of the same race...the human race. ☺

I would date someone if they were of a different race. A person who loves me, and I loved them...what would it matter what they were? There's nothing different about dating someone of a different race. Everyone is different.

If I was attracted to that person then yea I would but I look at the individual as a person, not the persons race. Also their personality and qualities that they have.

I wouldn't date outside of my race, of course I am married, so it's not an issue. I don't have anything against people who do, but I wouldn't.
