if he was rude it's because he didn't respect you, he doesn't deserve your time or affection, forget about him and move on, you deserve better!

I don't know, do you? This isn't really a question any of us can answer for you. Was he rude to you for a reason? Was it a bad day for him and he was just rude to everyone? Was it personal? There are too many variables. If someone is a good enough friend to me previously, and then is a little rude, I would probably forgive that person. If he was only a so-so friend, or an acquantance, and he was really rude (perhaps extreme name calling rude), then I would probably not forgive him.

I fail to see how this is an environmental question BUT
there are a ton of attractive 'dude's' everywhere. Forget him and find another. Or more.

Maybe@!. There was a guy that told me to "shut up", I couldn't stand him. I thought, how rude. This year we will be married 15 years, very happy ones.

Where is the relevance in this question to Environmental issues?

Unless of course the answer was like - how to recycle him? Landfill maybe?

If he was rude once, it is likely he will be again.
Past behavior is the greatest indicator of future behavior.
If you like him depends on if you like him being rude to you.
