I say that Honda is definatly better. Why? Because Toyota spends millions on advertising while Honda lets the quality of thier product do the talking.

Let's be honest here. You are talking about arguably the two most reliable car brands on the road today. Both will go forever if treated right and properly maintained. It comes down to personal preference and what kind of a deal you can make. I personally like Honda's product line better than Toyota's.

Both companies have been around for a long time. Honda started with motorcycles, and then into cars with it's hatch back of the 70's. But Toyota is a car that can be trusted. Here in Puerto Rico where it is always hot and the roads are curves and hills, the Toyota takes to these roads like a champ. Now to go a bit further, Dodge and Jeep are much better. But if you are between Toyota and Honda, get the Toyota. I have driven Toyotas up high hilly roads and down steep hills and at great speeds on the highway. My two brothers are pro mechanics and construct racers, they suggest also Toyota over any other.

HONDA! Absolutely! You can't beat a Honda. Toyota has started offering rebates on their vehicles and is now entering the fleet sales market (rental car companies, etc.). Both of these factors drive the resale value of a car into the ground.

Reason being is that the industry sees rebates as a bribe to the consumer. Honda has NEVER offered a rebate on ANYTHING! And as far as the fleet business goes, try to go to your local rental car business and request a Honda...not gonna happen. Fleet sales drives the resale value down because it makes the car "common." Anyone with a credit card and insurance can rent a car. Honda strives to be elite in all they produce. Did you notice the brand of car that every driver was driving in the Indy 500? Honda.

The only thing better than a Honda is 2 Hondas
