Jesus never taught it , but Paul did. Jesus said some people are born with unique "sexual" inclinations; Paul condemned homosexuality, and women, and anyone who did not join his little empire.
Most churches have sold their souls to Paul.

It just happens. It's like a father telling his eighteen year old son not to smoke cigarettes when he himself smokes two packs a day. His heart is in the right place but he doesn't practice what he preaches. Nobody is perfect and not all "religious people" are hypocrites. Unfortunately sometimes it can seem that way.

When people associate themselves with anything, not just beliefs & they are not totally aware of themselves & emotionally mature they will take big attacks or small comments on that belief personally.
Not all religious folk are like that, the ones who have a developed spiritual nature tend to live the love they preach.

Because there is a difference between being religious and being a Christian. That is like people who are book smart but don't have a lick of common sense. Religious people know the scriptures in the Bible (guess what, so does Satan), but don't have a clue what those scriptures really mean.

I don't think that most religious people hate others. (Even though it may seem like it.)
I think that they do love others, and think that they are doing people a service by telling them that they are doing wrong. They are trying to save them from themselves. They're just going about it the wrong way.
Christians a human and humans are fallible.
But on the other hand, I read somewhere that "sitting in a church makes me no more a Christian than sitting in my garage makes me a car".
Who knows.

You answered your own question....RELIGIOUS.
Christians are supposed to develop a RELATIONSHIP with God, which includes learning how to walk in love, and showing mercy, compassion, and forgiveness to others.
RELIGIOUS people are all about LAWS. Just like the Pharisees in Jesus' time, there is no love or compassion in their hearts. Everything they do is based on appearances.

I don't understand. I know of no Christian that preaches love, and then practices hate. Unless you mean the politically correct version of "hate," which means "disagree with" something.
For example, if I say I disagree with polyamory, people may accuse me of "hating" those who practice it.
What they fail to understand is that I don't agree with the behavior, but believe that they are still created in God's image, and are of infinite worth to Him.
He loves them so much, that He sent His Son Jesus to die on a cross to save them from such sin.
The problem is this: People would rather practice their sin, instead of repenting from it. They would rather enjoy a few years of pleasure now, than submit to God.
And, to justify this, they attack the messenger (me) by calling me a hater.

Coz that is what religious people do. Religion is so stuffed full of contradictions, gossip and inuendo that anyone can justify anything, Religion even justifies the holocaust and the Nazis, did you ever hear of anything so ludicrous. The Nazis were merely exercising FREE CHOICE. wowowowowowow. The millions of dead people had NO choice, so what happened to free choice. Stay away from religion it will do you no good and could do you a lot of harm

They don't. Where on earth did you get that idea from. It truly might be Satan trying to keep you away from Christians and Jesus. Let's keep it real. That is his job, you know? Or did you? Don't let him make you believe that garbage, and for God's sake don't let him brainwash you and lead you to where he is. He obviously thinks you are easy prey. Why don't you try this. Visit a bunch of churches, if you can until you find one that you are comfortable at, read your bible, and pray for guidance and If you are sincere in your prayers, God will lead you to the right one. I prefer the Catholic Church, however that might not end up your choice, but wherever you end up, PLEASE don't let Satan lead you there. Remember, he is one hell of a liar. That's why he is in hell. Also pray to St. Michael, He will fight Satan for you, if you trust and believe in him. God did not leave us hear alone, he gave us Saints and angles to help fight for us. That is if you trust and believe in him. Tell Satan to get behind you.Satan wants you to believe he has more power than God, But he is a lie. God can lick him with the wink of an eye. However, he might not if you don't ask him to. God needs to know first that you are his to defend, and he can't know that unless you sincerely fall on your knees and serender to him. Love the Lord with all of your heart and you can't fail.
