When I take my 4 year old son to the Harry Potter theme park will I have to dodge Christians who have signs that quote Leviticus where it says wizards should be put to death?

If my son is in a wizard costume will Christians yell at me and tell me I am a bad parent?

Since I'm an atheist, don't fundamentalist Christians think I suck to begin with, so this is just more reason to not like me?

I'm an atheist and I think the Harry Potter series should be burned for being badly written trash. But in the spirit of fair play I'm ready to burn copies of the Left Behind series at the same time.

I hope u don't have to dodge people who call themselves "Christians". In this society, so many claim that title, yet fail to realize the real meaning. Synonomous with Christianity is LOVE. I'm not necessarily speaking of tolerance, but to protest the park should not be something a true Christian would concern himself with. Again, there are people who call themselves Christian, and there are the true Christians. I could think of many other more important things to protest than a Harry Potter theme park. To each his own. By the way, dear atheist, I as a Christian do not hate you. I do understand that everybody has got to be somebody, and not everyone is going to Heaven. You just happen to be in the group that won't go. That's all.

If they protest, I will ignore them just like I do at concerts. Is it annoying, yes --for all of two seconds. Then we will be inside the gates of Potterverse. I have always said Hatin' on Harry is a fundie fad. It sounds like fun and all their friends are doing it.

I am personally excited about the park! I just added a new page to my website.

I am a Christian . . .I don't have a problem with it. Someone will protest it. . .someone protests everything. It is personal choice and one of those things that go along with living in the US, you have the right to protest. For me I don't have time to concern myself with a fictional character such as Harry Potter. My children are too young to be worried about it, so I haven't even bothered with it at all.

well i for one dont do any of those things at all. i am against the harry potter ride, or space ship rides or whatever. but i just simply choose to not ride them. why protest or do anything else. i dont think anyone sucks or anything at all. i feel sorry more then anything else. and i feel sorry you feel this way about christians. if you dont like cigarates or whatever rather you are christian or not and you dont like how it smells you go away from it. that is what i do. i dont need to protest with signs i just dont associate with it. if i dont like drugs i dont go around people who are doing drugs. i dont mean i dont talk with them when they are not smoking. i am talking if they are smoking at the time. anyways that is me. i am sure there are some who do those things but most of us dont. Jesus did not avoid going to anyone. he would go to everyone. if they did not accept him then he walked away. i go to everyone and talk about God if they dont want to know i leave it at that.

Yes this theme park can not be allowed. If built, this theme park will be the greatest affront to Christianity since Teletubbies.
