Yes it is safe to boil boneless chicken frozen. It holds in the nutrients and flavor. We just did that last night. Going to make chicken salad with the chicken breast.

4-8 oz. cooked chicken (cubed or pulled apart)
2 stalks of celery (finely chopped)
1 half carrot (finely grated-for additional color)
1/4 cup of chopped onions (optional)
1/2 cup golden or regular raisins.
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup green grapes (washed and cut in half)
1-1/2 cups of mayo or miracle whip
salt and pepper to taste
sliced tomato
lettuce leaves

Mix together in a large bowl all the ingredients. You can use bread or flour tortillas in flavors too. Put the chicken salad on to bread or tortillas or just not use the bread and place inside a whole carved out tomato and serve it on a bed of lettuce with pickles on the side or black or green olives. Bon appetite

Boil as in making a stew or soup?

I say yes it's okay, but it does depend on how long you're boiling/cooking it and how big the boneless chicken is.

Obviously, a big frozen block will take a long time compared to individually frozen thighs or legs.

You shouldn't really start a recipe from frozen, but if it's something that involves cut up chicken, cut the chicken before you boil it. It will cook faster, and frozen chicken is easier to cut. If you need those guys intact, the only thing you can do is cut a slit in the middle and then just boil them and keep a careful eye on them until they're cooked in the middle. Hope this helps.
