There were witnesses to this. That Saddam gassed Israel at the end of the Gulf war. That also Saddam gassed His own people by the 1000s, & many of those people were Christian.
He obviously had the capability to do so since he did it.
Do, you think Iraq would still have WMD if we never went into Iraq?

According to Georges Saga, Saddams plan was to gas Israel. Georges Saga attempted to discourage Saddam from doing this. But Saddam didn't listen.

There were eye-witnesses that they were shipped to Syria.

One thing we learned from the Missiles of October, in order to prove the existence of weapons, you have to give away your technology secrets (in this case, the U2).
We have proof, however, to reveal what we know would compromise security. Our "right to know" blather is not worth the compromise of our technology. So they allow the pundits to write their blah blah about non-existent WMDs.

No, the "witnesses" were anti-Saddam ex-pats who were well out of the country before the invasion. This story has been discredited time and again, but just won't die.
Saddam did not gass Isreal, he shot SCUD missles at them. He distroyed a few sand dunes and an empty shack. (His technology didn't have great aim)
He did gas people in Iraq, which was a Kurdish insurgency in northern Iraq, an area he did not control. They mounted a rebellion with (they thought) US backing, but President Bush Sr. reneged on his promise and left them to die, without the arms and soliders that were supposed to come. This is as much a blotch on the American record as it is on Saddam. We knew he was a madman, but we looked the other way because he would fight Iran for us, and we let him stay in power.
Iraq, quite simply, did not have WMD after 1996. They had been distroyed, shut down, and had no funding to reinstitute them. He DID have the capablity before 1990 in the Iraq/Iran war, and we can prove it because the Department of Defense and the State Department should still have the recepts from when we sold him the weapons.
Saddam was crippled and ruined, no threat to anyone but his own people. He should have been killed long ago, but his sins managed to stain us long after we left the first Gulf War. He didn't have WMD any more, he was nothing more than a bitter madman dreaming of former days of glory.

1.) Wrong forum.
2.) We knew Iraq had WMDs. His use during their war with Iran and against the Kurd rebellion (all of which occurred in the 80s when we were allied with Iraq) were documented before the invasion. Our primary concern was that Iraq had nuclear WMDs.
3.) We have WMDs, Israel has WMDs, China has WMDs, etc. Having them means nothing unless you can prove an imminent threat. For example, if you could make a convincing argument that Iraq had a connection to a major terrorist event...hmmmm.
4.) Where do you think Iraq got those WMDs? Hint: it starts with a "U".
5.) The scuds sent to Israel didn't contain any gas.

Before the invasion,Iraq was one of the most watched countries on the planet. If WMD's had existed and been moved, the government would have known about it and broadcast it to validate their war

I saw an interview on Fox.....a retired General who told about the WMD being transported to Syria.
Heck, we told them for two years that we were coming before we went....That gave them more than enough time to move them.
Saddam also used many of them on his own people.
The liberals who oppose the war are too stupid to figure out what would have happened if we hadn't gone there.
And my prediction......if we leave prematurely, the attacks will return to U.S. soil.
Like him or not, Bush has kept us from being attacks here since 9/11

Read "The Bomb in My Garden" by Mahdi Obeidi and there will be no doubt that there were plans for an A-Bomb.
