Big bang Theory
Theory of evolution

Then why is faith attacked? We all feel love, we all know it exists yet Science has not even trapped love in a test tube. I have complete faith that love exists and the bible even says "God is love".

You are getting Theory and Hypothesis mixed up. Don't worry most christians I have met do. A hypothesis is an concept/idea that you have but as of yet have little or no evidence to support or deny it. A theory is concept/idea, that is almost impossible to prove 100%, that you have tested and have (typically a lot of) evidence to support it. A hypothesis will never get to be a theory if there is no evidence to support it. The existence of god is a good example of a hypothesis that will never become a theory. The evidence supporting a theory must be hard evidence that is measurable. Faith doesn't count as evidence.

You are comparing apples to oranges here. Faith would more appropriatly be compared to evidence not a theory.

The theory of evolution is only a theory because all of the intricacies haven't been fully discovered, but the general basis for the theory has been proved in many, many different ways.

The big bang theory has less proof but is the most widely accepted theory at this point and makes sense when taken in with facts like the expansion of the universe and the time-line of the universe.

Unlike Christians and the Bible, those who follow science are okay with parts of their theories being challenged, and generally welcome it, as the truth has not been fully revealed, and most scientists don't have an agenda, nor have they staked their entire life on their beliefs.

Hope that helps.

You need to look up the term Theory in regards to scientific explanations. It is a common mistake that a lot people equate the word theory with the definition of hypothesis.

Not all Atheist believe in the big bang since it is not a requirement for the universe to exist.

Faith put into a book that is provably fictional is not rational.

Following the explanations of reliable, tested, evidentially supported science is rational.

It's the old "But it's JUST a THEORY" argument. Actually, they're not "just" a theory; in science, theories are almost as good as fact, let alone for the fact that we can't go back in time for hard evidence. There is plenty of evidence for both. I suggest you learn more about science and more about the history of the authors of the Bible.

SCIENTIFIC THEORY=In scientific usage, a theory does not mean an unsubstantiated guess or hunch, as it can in everyday speech. A theory is a logically self-consistent model or framework for describing the behavior of a related set of natural or social phenomena. It originates from or is supported by experimental evidence (see scientific method). In this sense, a theory is a systematic and formalized expression of all previous observations that is predictive, logical and testable

You also believe in gravitational theory,no?We have observed the mechanism(DNA)through which evolution occurs. We can see the galaxies speeding away from each other and detect the background radiation from the big bang. Guess what, while we can theorize,we have actually never detected the mechanism of gravity(a HYPOTHETICAL particle that is proposed as the means by which gravity is exerted). We know LESS about gravity, yet you believe it. Why?

"Science has not even trapped love in a test tube." Wow.

I suggest you look up the words 'science', 'theory', 'love' and 'test tube'. And be careful with 'theory', it has more than one meaning. I know how that can confuse you creationist types.

"Trusting" in technology and scientists basically means that I trust, depending on observable information, contained in the artwork that they do. In technology you want controls, a huge pattern length, peer revision, and different analyze that come out with an same end. yet people nevertheless imagine this is being 'faked' to promote a particular worldview - and there are nevertheless those who do not believe Evolution. There are 2 issues scientists delight in the most: a million) searching the actuality 2) Proving different scientists incorrect technology would not say that god would not exist. technology deals purely with information and what's going to be shown. we are saying that god would not exist because there is fairly no information for it, same to there is none for unicorns and fairies. technology is silent on the remember, because it may't be shown both way. as far as non-life is going, the priority about technology is its almost no longer conceivable to prepare something would not exist. we may be able to although say that "we've not ever considered any information to help it". This brings up what I discovered as "Little eco-friendly guy" theory. i will't say that little eco-friendly adult men from mars do not exist, as to prepare it i'd ought to pass to mars, come across it in its entirety and are available back to be able of declare that there have been no little eco-friendly adult men there. someone might want to then argue that they were basically hiding on the different part of the planet from everywhere i become. although none of which means little eco-friendly adult men from mars *do* exist. to assert that we would opt to have fairly information of little eco-friendly adult men that are not basically pictures of highway lamps. genuinely, lack of information to the detrimental does no longer mean the affirmative. lack of information to the affirmative does mean the detrimental.
