Well a Crusade is an action, something a Crusader does. A Jihadi is a person, one engaged in Jihad.
Semantical difference, but you should really use terminology properly.
And in the end, both are abominations of faith. War for a God of Peace, killing for the one who offers eternal life, Hatred for another when Love is what brings one closer to God.

Crusaders didn't brainwash people into believing them- jihadis are willing to do whatever it takes to destroy their enemy. The Crusades had a good intention- to gather people to God, but it went wayyy out of whack when crusaders started plundering and doing other violent things. Jihadis have never expressed a good intention- only to destroy and terrorize. Finally, most (if not all) Christians regret the Crusades and have made public apologies and continual prayers for forgiveness while Jihadis express no remorse or even hesitancy when deciding to kill. Instead, they laugh and burn flags.

No comparison!
"While Jihadis and their apologists in the media today love to highlight the brutal treatment Muslims received during the Crusades, they have little to say about what Christians endured for almost 400 years before the Crusades were launched. "

Jihadis doesnt have a denotation in Arabic, its a made up word. Jihad means to strive/struggle.
There is 2 types of Jihad, Jihad of the greater and Jihad of the lesser.
Jihad of the greater- Inner struggle to make oneself a better person. This bring greater rewards in Islam thus hence the word 'greater'.
Jihad of the lesser- Physical struggle which is most commonly known as Holy war, this bring less reward but should only be done under Sharia(Islamic Law).

Pretty much the same idea, both are "holy wars" defending one religion by attacking another religion.
The Crusades I think focused a little more on a specific goal - gaining control of a specific land area (the Holy Land), whereas I think jihads are a little more general and on-going.

Not much really. Both are the result of satanic deception carefully placed within the hearts & minds of he believers. regardless of which god they worship. They do not realize that godworship = satan worship. It's nearly impossible to penetrate the wall of deception that has been a lifetime in building there. In thier hearts they truly believe that thier worshipping the ONE TRUE HEAVENLY FATHER, WHOSE NAME ALONE IS YAHWEH. However, with the TRUE NAME of YAHWEH removed from the Holy Scriptures, and replaced with the names of the foreign gods, they do not really know what to believe; and not realizing that thier minds are deceived, thier left to believe the lie. You can ask any one of them, the christian, the jew, or the arab, & they'll each tell you that there's only one true god. christians call him, jesus, jews, adoni, & the arab, allah; yet, if these different gods are all in the same, then why are every ones holy books different. Why does the christian hate the jew & the arab? why does the jew think he's higher than the christian of the arab? Why does the arab hate both the christians & the jews.? Because the god of this world, satan, has blinded the minds of these believers so that they can not see the TRUTH. During the Crusades, the holy roman catholic monks rode murderousily through the land killing all who would not believe as they. For 3 centuries, the blood flowed freely in the name of jesus christ. Finally, the pope was taken hostage in the napoleanic wars, ending centuries of bloodshed. Today, the holy wars, the jihads, are all for the simple sake of pure hatred. The arabs hate the jews for existing in the same place that thier holy Dome of the Rock resides. They hate christians because thay are always trying to force democracy on them. The christian, of course, believes that the arab is lost & without salvation without believeing in jesus. They do not know that jesus is a false savior given to men so that they can believe that thier saved while continuing in thier daily sins. Even the name leadsd one away from salvation, which can only be found in YAHWEH!!! The name jesus means "zeus our healer" or "zeus our salvaton". This is who your calling out to when you use the name of jesus. Zeus is the father of the gods in the roman pantheon, aka the sun god, whose holy day of worship is "sunday". You couldn't be further from the True worship of YAHWEH!!!WHO clearly states that the Sabbath Day is Saturday, the 7th day of the week. The TRUE MESSIAH'S NAME IF YAHSHUA, & it means YAHWEH IS OUR SALVATION!!! Can you see how important it was for satan to remove the TRUE NAMES of OUR FATHER & HIS SON, YAHSHUA!!! Oh, that we could quickly awaken to the TRUTH, & all come to the HOUSE OF YAHWEH, led by Pastor Yisrayl Hawkins!!! Questions? Ask at Abel, 325-670-9494, & that will settle the matter!!!!

Crusades is a Holy war decreed by a Higher authority on Christian religion. Jihad is a Holy War that can always be declared even by a sociopath on the street.

Basically --
"Crusades" = Christian.
"Jihad-is" = Muslim.
They are both forms of struggle based on religious belief - and don't under-estimate how much the underlying beliefs can make what looks basically the same on the surface quite different underneath. (For example, because of Christian beliefs, we have seen VERY few Christian suicide bombers. Also, we don't see many Muslims looting tombs for their "Holy Relics" -- something that happened during the Christian Crusades.)

Crusades fights for the Kingdom of God. Jihadis wants to conquer the whole world, and if anyone disagree with them, i guess you know what they will do to them. And there will be 72 virgins???? waiting for them in heaven. So strange. Think for yourself.
