i live for the goddess. people have thier beliefs and i dont persecute them so why should they do the same to me?

Not all think Wicca is bad, but when you can't express your religious beliefs in public because you are afraid of what "Christians" say or do, that is bad. I live in a very rual area and I love my neighbors, but I wouldn't tell them my religion for fear of maybe being burned out. It is sad that I have to worry about something like this, but change will happen and this problem will correct itself.
We won the battle with the VA to adopt the Pentacle for our warriors, but that happiness was not well distributed by the news media which makes you wonder.

People persecute everyone for everything. They've been doing it forever, it's just a nasty part of human nature.

Well the ones that do, are afraid when you shake their tiny little universe by disagreeing with them. You do that by practicing something they don't.
Ignore them. They aren't worth the energy it takes to be annoyed by them.
