Peanut butter is high in fat - but in good fat as long as you eat the kind without the hydrogenated/partially hardrogenated oils - these have no trans fat. I buy Skippy Natural - it is the best tasting natural peanut butter I have tried.

Peanut butter has a high fat content naturally, since peanuts are high in fat as well. However, peanuts are not that bad for you. If you are eating the natural kind of PB, it is even better because it is not processed too much and does not have added sugar. Try to avoid trans fat (partially hydrogenated....) and you will be fine.

Pretty fattening. I think it's about 16g per 2 tbsp?

I just ate a Peanut Butter sandwich. But I had skim milk so it's all good. :)

2 tbsp is about 12-15 grams of fat. You need fat in your diet. It's better to get fat from peanut butter than junk food, so I don't feel guilty at all when I eat it. I love peanut butter, especially mixed with honey! MM,mmm!

I personally eat 1 tablespoon a day for PB. It is a great source of protein and natural oils you need. You will burn it fast so no worries about weight gain or from it stopping you from losing weight. Also I was told when I was losing tons of weight I was losing my hair and thats why I now eat the PB each day it keeps that from happening.

It's not. It is high-quality protein and unsaturated fats and oils, if you buy the good kind.
