Call me ultra-sensitive about anything I put in my body now, but I feel that caffeine may be throwing myself off now that I'm on an SSRI. Anyone have any data to support this reaction/not, or personal experience?

yes i did. Both caffeine and tobacco.
I have not had coffee or any caffine(spelling?) for over 7 yrs. now...
Still smoking but I am off the SSRIs for over 6 yrs.
the coffee & SSRIs were a bad combo.
I still get what i call "head tremors" when i get too tired
I think it was an overdose\over medication of them.

Mentally, no. But I took some sertraline (you may know it as Zoloft) the other day with a big cuppa coffee and I had already had a red bull. Now, I've never had heartburn, but I imagine that's what it feels like.

It hurt, I think, more than most things hurt. I would have rather stuck a knife through my hand. I threw it all up and felt better, but I know that I'm never going to drink anything but water the next time I take it. It was awful. I still don't know what happened to me. This probably won't happen to you, though, my stomach lining is all messed up.

Best wishes.
