Yes, and it's supposed to be extremely painful. If you take a lot, you'll start to vomit uncontrollably and you'll probably have to get your stomach pumped. It probably won't kill you unless you can keep the vomit down.

Regardless of why you are asking this question, my advice to you would be to go and see a doctor.
If you are having trouble sleeping to the point that you need more than the recommended dose that's listed on the box, then you need a perscription brand sleeping pill.
If you are asking for other reasons - being that you posted this on the mental health section - then you need to see a doctor for that too. There's too many things on the market right now that can help for you not to take advantage of it.
A good family physician can get you the answers and help you need. I would recommend setting up an appointment ASAP.

Sleeping pills slow down your metabolism and your heartrate, so yes, too many will kill you. Take the recommended dosage and no more. If its not working, switch brands but never take more than recommended without consulting a doctor. If you are feeling suicidal, please call a sucide hotline and talk with someone before taking matters into your own hands.
