I dont believe it is always a bad thing to be "addicted to religion or spirituality" I dont know that addicted is the correct word. but if your speaking of marital affairs, then the answer is no. I think they both kind of run hand in hand. you cant be a very religious or spiritual person and live by your beliefs and have affairs to. i think that would go against ones beliefs.

Affairs like what -- extra-marital?

If they had more affairs it would show that they are more addicted to having affairs.

Religion is personal human choice. Not having religion doesnot mean that is pre-disposes someone to having extra affairs.

Having affairs is a decision to involve two AND more people in something that can seriously damage families and lives. Even a non-religious person can see the problem that comes with making such choices.

i think if you're addicted to religion and spirituality then you aren't really the type that would have a lot of affairs. if that's what you mean, then yes.

if you mean that affairs would liberate them from religious and spiritual concerns, i would say no. over-indulgence in carnal pleasures, at the sacrifice of meaningful relationships, would probably only often serve to highlight the meaninglessness of their lives. which would probably drive them straight back to religion and spirituality to give them a more profound and fulfilling reason for existing.

I think not. Look at how many of the religious right wingers praise Jesus and the bible and screw around on their wives. I especially like the ones that take viagra with them to other countries to find child prostitutes. Good job Rush!
