You should make a police report and tell them that you suspect her, but she can not be arrested on just suspicion. The most that could be done is the police question her. If she denies it.. that's that.. case closed.

We need some evidence. Where do you think she would put the rims? Do some detective work yourself. Help find some evidence and then she can get charged.

Did you also report this to your insurance company? First of all, if he had no paperwork saying he bought it and you have not signed the title over to him, then it is not sold/bought and your police dept sounds like a bunch of boobs. Did he give the car back? If you did not sign the title over to him and he has the car, get a lawyer and sue him for the car or the $ value of the car. I would also sue the police dept.

Arrrgh!

When Cpt. Chirac needs to get some pirate revenge, I call them on the phone and record it.

"Polly, this be Jacque, I want me rims back. I love me rims and I will buy them from ye, I just want them back."

If ye live in a single party state you can tape any conversation of yer own and it will be admissible. What be yer state and I can find out fer ye.

You have no proof she did it. Hell, I could have done it as far as you know. There is a little thing called the constitution that prohibits the police from arresting someone on on just suspicion.

You could always poor big red into her gas tank. As far as some authority to do something, if the police can't do anything I don't know of anyone else that would.

Sorry to say, the police won't act on a hunch. Without real evidence, it's your word against hers.

hire a private investigator.

many of these guys are retired fbi agents other former law enforcement people and you'd be shocked at how stupid people can be when they don't think they are going to be investigated.

you might find them to be affordable. i hired a for fbi guy to do some work for me - he conducted some interviews and his bill came to less than $400.00

No.
There is this thing you need called EVIDENCE, and unless she came right out and said she DID it on her MySpace, there is nothing you can do.

if the police won't help then their is nothing that you can do about it.

sometimes you have to step out of your box and give her that good ole A$$ whooping that she needs.
