The kittens have eye infections. this could the two be dealt with by employing your self or by employing a vet. come across a close-by feed shop. (a save that sells farm animals feed) maximum will carry a product called Terramycin. (in case you're in California you will could desire to get it from a vet) frequently sells for $sixteen it somewhat is an optical antibiotic. (for the eyes) use a heat moistened cotton ball to scrub the attention from nostril outward. (use a diverse cotton ball for each eye. as quickly as the attention opens gently carry it open and positioned some Terramycin in each and every eye. do no longer enable the top of the tube to touch the attention only gently squeeze the tube and permit a small volume of gell to drop onto the attention. do this for 3-4 days and the undertaking ought to sparkling. If no longer then proceed medical look after yet another 3 days.

I can tell you this, it is very important to take them to the vet or you could end up with blind kittens that will just be put to sleep anyway. These kittens have an infection, period. You can wash out their eyes with warm cloths but this will not cure the infection. Call the vet, you may be able to pick up the medication for a small fee without visit. Depends on the vet and if you have ever used one. It could very well be distemper and you will not only have a problem with the babies but any other cats you have. Please see the vet, it really is important.

Um i am not attacking you, but why do you need 5 kittens if you can not afford to take them to the vet? Never have more animals than you can care for. I would get warm water on a washcloth ans wipe the gunk out of their eyes hourly if it doesn't clear up quickly then I would take them to the vet or the humane society. It is not fair to the kittens they rely on you as their only means of protection. If you insist on keeping them then take the worst off one to the vet and tell him you have 3 or 4 other kittens with the same problem and he/she will give you or sell you extra dosage for the other kittens. If it gets too bad it could cause them to loose their eyes or kill them.

You don't need to take ALL of them to a vet. Take the worst one to a vet, get a diagnosis, get the anitbiotics and your straight.

Vets WILL work with people who are not "rich", but they do wonder why people take in 5 kittens that will soon need series after series of shots and medical care that even a "wealthy" person has a hard time paying for all at once. Unless your name is Paris Hilton that is..

Lets not forget your 100% legally and morally responsible to care for them if they are sick. People can and will get arrested for knowingly allowing a cat or dog to stay sick.
Money issues or not there are other options. Cruelty and neglect are not the options either.

Mammals (like we are) feel pain and illness. It affects them as it does us. Where is a persons soul and heart for knowing this and allowing their cat or dog to suffer while they carry on in their selfish lives?

As you sit there eating and laughing your pet is laying there suffering and helpless.

IF you can't afford these 5 kittens then by all means give them up to a good, reputable place that will NOT kill them for no reason. Or else get off your butt, get some loot and take care of these kittens properly.

Don't forget in a few months you will need to spay and neuter them. Unless you think female cats are made to breed over and over again and that their offspring is made to breed over and over again. They DO feel labor pains btw. Like you and I do as mammal women. They do not want kittens, they are not instinctively having kittens for "love" purposes.

It is a physical need that drives them to breed. Not a "lets settle down and get married and share our love with a baby" one.

Don't be cruel. Spare them a life of hurt,misery,hunger,neglect,sickness...Need I go on?

It is a law that owners care for their sick pets in a certain amount of time after discovering that the pet or pets are sick..

You know they are sick, you now can be held liable if you allow them to suffer or kick them out of your house to fend for themselves.

Put them in a box, write a note saying "please help my sickly cats I can't do it" and leave them in a safe place on the steps of a good humane society or city pound with a good reputation..

That is the most humane thing you can do now unless you get antibiotics for 5 cats today or tommorrow.

Next month you'll need to start the series of vaccinations on all 5 kittens plus the spaying/neutering. Plus the food (they can't live on dry kibbles alone for their entire kittenhood btw) and litter.

And any random medical issues along the way. Like a urinary tract infection that WILL KILL a cat in less than 1 week. A painfully, long, horrid death at that. Don't forget flea and tick treatments..

You need to find the money to take them to the vet, only a vet can help treat this. Plus if you cannot afford animals then you shouldn't get them in the first place. It is required BY LAW for you to take care of your animal(s), otherwise it is considered animal abuse. You can get pet insurance, or find someone who CAN take care of them. They need medical attention that we cannot give. Or take them to the PDSA, there should be one in your area, check the phone book. You can give a small donation, or it is free to people who can't afford a donation. Do not let them suffer!!! How would you feel if you were sick and dependent on someone to take care of you and they didn't? Please get them to a vet!!!

I have seen several posts from you over several days, you keep saying you get paid in a week, have you taken the babies to a vet yet? It sounds like they have upper respiratory infection, which can be very serious if left untreated, until then use a very warm paper towel or washcloth to clean their little eyes

You need to give them antibiotics and eye drops. But you need to go to a vet to learn dosage and exactly what type. I am Greek, so we probably have different brand names of medications, so I don't want to confuse you.
At least take one to the vet(the one who lokks worse), and give the medication he prescribes to all of them.

Sounds like an upper resp. infection. Cats get them quite often. They will keep passing it back and forth unless you get some antibiotics and get rid of it.

it's an upper respitory infection ... take them to the vet asap ... they will just keep passing it back and forth to each other ... it is life threatening they need antibiotics.
