You bet - take the feast day was just had - Pentecost - can you imagine the Holy Spirit descending on the disciples - the roar of the wind and the tongues of fire - then they go out on to the street speaking all different kinds of languages - many thought they were drunk - so yes, if one can get drunk on the Spirit, then religion can be just as addictive as Yahoo Answers R&S!!!!!

It's like anything else; it depends on what you do with it. If it's so important to be 'religious' then I hope that you can live by it's rules, whatever that religion might be. If it's addictive, then I would have to ask if you think that it's harming you. If it is, then maybe your definition of 'religion' needs to be examined.

I don't like to apply the word 'religious' to myself. There are too many bad things associated with the word. I'd rather trust ing god through jesus Christ personally, and trust him to raise me as whatever it is I am to be. I haven't been steered wrong yet! and it's been over 20 years.

It really is addicting. My husband thinks I'm having an on-line affair -- I'm on here so much.
