Some drink a bit of wine. Others grape juice. Many nothing at all. Catholics of course drink the blood of the risen Savior.

We don't drink anything at chuch unless we are having communion. Then we drink a small thimble-sized container of wine (grape juice for the kids) as taking the blood of Jesus. Jesus turned the water into wine and said "take of this as my blood".

When I was little we would drink "orange drink". It was supposed to taste good but it was just like watered down kool-aid. And we would all crunch up our goldfish and put them in the drink. And in Sunday School now, we drink orange juice, pulp free, for kids, cause my one friend hates the "adult" kind. Unless your asking what we drink for communion.. that would be grape juice.

If you're inquiring about communion ...It's the blood of Jesus and I'm not Catholic either.
To me it's all about partaking in the fellowship with Jesus. One of my Pastors used Sprite at a home bible study. It's more of what it represents as oppose to what is literally in the cup. But don't take communion if you haven't asked for forgiveness otherwise it'd be you bringing Gods judgement upon you.

Christians drink wine or grape juice.
Catholics drink wine that they believe has been miraculously transformed in the Blood of Jesus Christ. (The Communion wafer having been miraculously transformed in His Body.)

We drink the blood of Christ. We use wine, but it is consecrated into the Blood of Christ. To quote scripture:
Matthew 26: 26-28 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and giving it to his disciples said, "Take and eat; this is my body."
Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you,
for this is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins.
He didn't say it's almost, etc..he said it is. We believe it is the blood of Christ not just a symbol of his blood.

Coffee. Or at least that's what you find at the AA meetings held at some churches on weeknights.
