Don't get run down, do not burn the candle at both ends and make sure you have a good diet full of nutrients. I used to have cols sore regularly and once I changed my life style, gone forever. If I do feel one coming I dab it with perfume.

Our doctor recommended Ly-sine (an amino acid) yrs ago to be taken daily (like a vitamin) and it helps keep them from ever coming. I believe it was 500 mg per day...and if you get one to take more. It's a supplement in drug stores or health food stores. Also B vitamins help to combat stress.

i've got study this and its somewhat an immunity situation. the greater useful your immune gadget, the greater useful risk you will not get them. it somewhat is why rigidity reasons them, with the aid of fact your immune gadget weakens. to boot, stay faraway from chocolate and nuts, as those comprise a lot of "arginine" (amino acid) that are somewhat gasoline for chilly sores.
