i treat parvo dogs every day, and the occasional distemper dog.... a friend of mine had a lady EMAIL her saying her 8wk old pup had a seizure and is sensitive to touch! she told her to get to the vet- as this isnt anything we take care of!! just curious as to what it could be?? any ideas?

well i just remembered ALOT of dogs are so seriously traumatized after a seizure that they can stay freaked out for hours, even a day or three. it may just be scared.
im crossing my fingers for this to be the case! its only 8 wks old :(

I knew someone with a Great Dane and another with a Chihuahua, both suffered with this.
They said it was poor breeding and that the breeders "Line bred" so there were deformities in the organs and bones.
They were both hunched over and would cry when petted on the spine....

If it's a possibility that the pup is epileptic then the pup would be suffering from a sever headache after each seizure. Ask any seizure prone epileptic. Ask me, the headaches after a seizure borderline on a migraine.

Maybe the pup could be severely allergic to something the lady is wearing? Perfume? Lotion? Cream?
