depends on your job, yes look for a job you want in the military. air force has the highest standard of living so you might be a bit more comfortable but danger is always there. make sure you can put up with the deployments and you are in good shape before going, also you might qualify for ocs and become an officer in the air force since you have a degree.

good luck and god bless.

well to get an enlistment bonus you need to what career you want first. typically unless you are enlisting as an linguist or similar job, an enlistment bonus isnt provided. if you want to be in the air force that is. but if you are willing to join a branch such as the army national guard, youll probably be offered an enlistment bonus UP TO $20,000. but you need to be careful with enlistment bonuses. you wont get paid all of the money up front. what they will mostly do is give you half when you have completed basic. then keep giving you half of the half that is left until your term is up. but youll only get the bonus provided that you dont get in any trouble (even a speeding ticket with void your enlistment bonus). my best answer for you is to talk with the recruiter of the branch you want to go into, talk about jobs, then ask about enlistment bonuses. the enlistment bonus shouldnt be the reason you want a specific job. youll be stuck with that job for at least three years ( if its the air force) so you want to make a wise decision.

not everyone gets a bonus. right now, the AF is offering few,if any, in fact. you MIGHT get a bonus based on your college credit, or you could get one if you get a certain job that is offering a bonus. Literally, what jobs are offering binuses can change daily.

you can expect, however, to come it at a higher paygrade, possibly e3 or e4 because of your degree.

if it isn't in writing, you don't get it. research what jobs you might be interested in, but do NOT be job locked. you must be flexible. The AF is downsizing and will be less willing to work with someone who only wants to be a certain job, especially if they don't need any more in that specialty.

White Cherry,
The only way to get a definitive answer is to talk with a recruiter. You may even have to take the ASVAB and physical before he can tell you, but you'll have to consider the job you want. Make sure you sound 'iffy' so he'll tell you ALL the incentives!
The brochures may be able to help you answer some of those questions as well as tell you some of the bonuses.

Ask yourself whats your life worth when you have a gun to your head? Bonus is there a fair price for this what 30,000 for 4 years that's so cheap to put your life on a line don't you think? If you don't think so maybe you better go back to school! Whats the bonus when you have someone wanting to kill you and committing one of the greatest sins in life killing? I might enlist if they gave me fair pay for assassins which would be at least 1/2 mill for anyone

Any enlistment bonus is going to be dependent on the job you select.

in ordinary terms some terminology first. you are able to no longer have necessary protection stress enlistment. this is consription this is the right term for forcing somebody into provider. In united statesa., with the style of infants who attain draft age each and every 365 days, we don't have room contained in the protection stress to take all of them so any conscription could be selective in nature and all does no longer serve. yet once you brush aside that and what if the situation, then you definately could desire that by employing serving their usa for a pair of years, childrens could be extra susceptible to benefit confusing later on having discovered a paintings ethic this is regrettably lacking in maximum childrens as we communicate. in case you're because of the fact each and every drop out could be compelled into the protection stress then i could desire to make certain the place you are able to desire to think of that could desire to incentivise childrens to stay at school. regrettably that's no longer the case. childrens do no longer think of approximately effects. as a result they're childrens. i do no longer think the drop out fee could exchange regardless of the opportunity of compelled protection stress servitude looking forward to them. as we communicate decrease than 30% of infants are eligible to enlist because of the fact of training, ethical or medical issues. for sure childrens do no longer care approximately effects. desire this facilitates. solid success!
