I am an educated house wife....I am simply posting what was forwarded to me....I do agree with the war in Iraq....to an extent...we are there why not finish the job? If we left now, it all would had been done in vain...

2007-05-31 04:53:09 · update #1

To those posting answer's saying Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, then pray tell, who did? Where did these killers come from? I do not want to hear it was all about wmd. I do not want to hear it is about oil. ffs if that were the case, we could had fought over that before this war ever started. Innocent civilians? My bum! More than half those people over there are burning our BEAUTIFUL flag, hate America and would kill you in a heartbeat because you are American or because you are a Christian. The other half want freedom from these terroist's, they want a life full of peace, they want a democracy. The women over there do not want to be raped, nor shut up from their beliefs and wants, etc etc.To give someone peace and to give someone a most wanted democracy will not take over night and it sure in the hell will not be an easy thing to do. Those troops over there are over there because they believe in freedom. They were not forced to sign up for the military! America: Love it or leave it

BTW the following that is about to be added is from a usa marine..aka...my brother...

yeah dont let them liberal bastards get you down,.....they have no damn clue all they want to do is piss and moan

2007-05-31 05:38:53 · update #5

OMG think about it people...you know that you would want our troops to save your *** if your freedom was at stake and we were being over powered by terroist's and over powered by someone who was "head of the country"

2007-05-31 05:42:36 · update #6

My brother and I have been emailing one another for the most part of this morning and he knows what the truth is...he was there...this is what he has added......

You have to remember I was there when the war broke out, and we knew who the enemy combatants were,.....now its a whole new ball game,......guerilla warfare,....insurgency,....but its Bush's fault,......yeah right. If it weren't for Bush and his hard-line tactics,.....we'd done had another attack. Remember about 3 months ago we busted a plot to blow up planes over the Atlantic,...it was his tactics that played a role in foiling their plot

I agree with you 100% infinate on your addition to your answer Glen.....And will do Sir about my brother!! =}=} God Bless you Glen and thank you again for your selfless act of service....

I've seen this before, and I must say, it's very well thought out and very well written.

As for Iraq having nothing to do with 9-11, lest we forget, Sad-I'm Insane was still pissed off about Desert Storm, and to fund Osama Been Hiddin' in his efforts to attack the U.S. would be an easy way to take part and not be "noticed".

And even if he wasn't, I've been to Iraq as well as served in Desert Storm. I've seen first hand what Hussain did to his people, and had them thank me for what we are doing there now.

We are the good Samaritan in this fight. We have crossed the road to help a beaten and injured stranger when the "rightious" all turned away.

I hope this email keeps circulating and that people keep reading it.

ADDED: Thank you, Kim.

I will say that the part about the prisoners I kinda balk at. See, I was a prison guard in Desert Storm, and I helped keep others from miss treating the prisoners a couple times. To be down-right rude and crude and humiliate prisoners is wrong, no matter what.

HOWEVER- I will also say I beat the crap out of quite a few prisoners during a riot more than once. You do what ya gotta, when ya gotta. You don't go beyond what's neccessary.

And also tell your brother "SEMPER FIDELIS" from a former Marine.

HEAR! HEAR! Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have stated it all so well. I couldn't agree more. Good for you!!!!!!!!! It is refreshing to hear someone say what you did. Contrary to the Liberal idiots, Islam IS involved in all of this and if regular Muslims spoke out more against how their religion is being abused by other Muslims maybe no one would fault it anymore. They don't because 1. they secretly believe in what is going on & 2. Islam has always been a religion of conquest, spread by the sword. When Mohammad was rejected in his country, he left, raised an army and returned to MAKE them Islamic (just what Hitler did - taking power by force). When G.I.s die they are the spirit of Jesus. Making the same kind of sacrafice.

Uh-huh.

So, this woman wants a sort of revenge for 9/11?

2500 people died in 9/11.

The civilian casualties of you so-called "war on terror" in Iraq, a few weeks ago, passed the one-hundred thousand mark. For every innocent American civilian killed in 9/11, your war has killed four innocent civilians in the middle east.

9/11 is, in no way, connected to Iraq. The war in Iraq is purely President Bush's international ambitions to set up spineless puppet governments

Some of the statements made in here aren't exactly polite. The Islamic religion manages to repress its violent tendancies for the most part; however, like Adolf Hitler used Christ to execute six million Jews, they are using the name of a beautiful religion as a false excuse to wage a political war against the United States.

The prisoner thing? Hmm. You know, civilized countries are expected to abide by the RULES OF WAR. And under the rules of war, you are NOT ALLOWED TO HUMILIATE PRISONERS. You are NOT allowed to harm prisoners, you MUST feed them, and you MUST care for them. Its called the Geneva convention, something which the US seems to have forgotten.

However, spending tax dollars on special Islamic needs is a real pissoff.

Well, I'm glad I'm here up north in ye old Dominion of Canada.
If you're not going to stop the false war in Iraq (Afghanistan is completely justified), all I can do is wish you good luck.

Good luck.

From eh to zed,

Phil

Oh, and by the way...

Please remember that YOU set up Osama Bin Laden, that YOU gave him weapons, that YOU promoted his cause, and that YOU used him to fight the Soviets in 1970!

YOU CREATED HIM!!!

Trichbopper, I am pretty sure that that entire post was aimed at people like you. That rant had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11 being related to Iraq.

2007-05-31 04:51:50 · answer #5 · answered by Douglas K 2 · 2 1

Yeah, it sounds like the uneducated rantings of a housewife. Osama bin Laden does not represent all of Islam. Nirvana has nothing to do with Islam. I'm glad I have more respect for human beings, be they terrorists or not, than this housewife from NJ.

Selfish, ignorant jerks like this woman are the reason why our nation is in trouble.

Emotional but wrong. We went after the wrong country. Bin Laden and his followers were not in Iraq. Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11. Not all Muslims are terrorists. If the US uses torture to gain information, it is no better than the terrorists.

I agree with your sentiment but we can not be religiously biased against Muslims or for Christan's. sorry, but I do support the war and help we are giving to those in that war torn area.

You are against this war and the killing of our Brave American troops for a WAR concocted by fools and predicated on lies, not to mention the deaths of over 300,000 innocent Iraqi's?
