Well, aren't there depictions of the Devil in Hell torturing human souls?
If his domain is Hell, I assumed he was chief torturer or something. I guess he got demoted.

Wouldn't the Devil already be condemned, thereby exempting him from being judged /on Judgement Day/? Also, it is said that the greatest punishment one can sustain is to be disconnected from the Perfect Lord. How can anyone stand that?

No God will punish him. Hell was made for the devil and his angels. The devil wants to charm, deceive, and lure as many people as possible to join him instead of going to God.

why would the devil punish himself??? the devil is real and god will kill him when judgment day does come. i dont see how its confusing. everyone here on earth is here for a reason to serve god and the devil's purpose is to torment the living daylight out of us trying to get us to serve him. and we have to fight him off stay true to god. its not confusing at all

In Islam Allah promised Devil for hell. Devil has refused the order of Allah, when he was ordered to bow down for Adam.

hello,i am muslim and i speak from islam's opinion.devils has been punished since it didn't bow for adam and god baned it from being with him and another angles.so it tried to to show ways to adam that adam can be stoped from the right way.and in quraan we see that devil showed a tree that god banned adam to pick up apple from it.and adam picked it and exiled to earth and in judgement day which is one of our religion base bad people tell god devil was our cause to br bad.but devil say No.i didn't do anything more than showing you the way.(from quraan)

he already knows what severe punishment awaits him (hell) and I think if we truly knew what hell is, we would do everything we could to stay away from it....satan also knows the character of God, satan (for awhile)served God in heaven...so he knows who God is & what God is capable of & the bible says the demons know & believe "and they tremble!"
