Hinduism never believed in conversion... no hindu will ever tell you to covert to hindus
Hindus remain shut inside their doors.
their moto is - come find us if you like
i dont know why u put this question ...has any hindu knocked at your door for conversion??
Still if one is interested in knowing the Mysteries of Universe, cause of Life and death, god, heavens hells and their reality...has to join Sanatan Dharma one day.
But narrow minded or low mentally evolved people will not understand this

U don't join Hinduism u embrace it. Hinduism is not about right or wrong path to god it's about right way of living ur life and bein fruitful 2 the society where u might be livin. This is one religion where even an atheist can stay true to her or his beliefs while still practisin Hiduism to its fullest. U don't need 2 go 2 temple or recite spiritual verses or believe in God or perform murders to achieve Good Karma. No Hindu is more Hindu than the other. U can be gay, psychopath, meat eater or even a murdering moron n still no1 can take away ur Hinduism. It is a heritage, a set of eco-friendly civic teachings, even a state of constant enlightenment, not a religion which is guided by a or few books. Ther's no last word in Hinduism, always scope for introspection and betterment. It's not a word of God it is an essay written by people who were better thinker than their fellow beings.
I saw a query askin if some one has seen anyone converting 2 Hinduism, well I have. My teacher converted 2 Hinduism. I was there when he did that. He is still enjoying his Gay life with as much clubbing as possible. He is proud 2 be a Hindu, that's wat he said. Most of my temple's priests are neo-converts, Administration as well.
Did that answer ur question? Looked more like a challange 2 me. Take Care.

Nobody needs to join Hinduism.Strictly speaking,Hinduism is not a religion like Christianity,Islam or others but a way of life.Plurality of thought in Hinduism is quite different from linearity of other religions. Many Christians are practicing Hindus without even knowing about it.Even you may be an Hindu in many ways.Hope you would ponder over it and broaden your view about the most ancient and universal religion or the way of life,in the world.

There is nothing like an organized religion, church, synagogue, or mosque in Hinduism.
It is a diffuse school of thought with a lot of freedom to evolve one's own belief system.
There is no baptism or initiation procedure as in other religions. There is even a provision for agnosticism.
Why should any one join Hinduism? How will they do it?
The best analogy can be that it is like an open tent without any doors. All sides open. Any one can walk in and walk out.
There is no presiding Chief to reward you for coming in or punish you for leaving. The frightening thing is that you are on your own. Create your own process of Salvation or follow one of the existing ones.
I am a Hindu. Yet I find it extremely difficult to give any cogent answer on specific questions about one belief system or other within the ambit of Hinduism.
So, coming back: There is absolutely no call for any one to join Hinduism.

The concept of utmost freedom of thoughts & actions is the cardinal principle of Hinduism and that what attracts everyone to Hinduism. Hinduism never forbids anyone to question its fundamentals.
Even an atheist has the right to hit and condemn Hinduism in the public and still proudly proclaim he or she is a Hindu.
Voltaire in Essay on Tolerance wrote:“ I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death, your right to say it.” .
Hinduism is the symbol of what Voltaire wrote.
Talking about Hinduism on one side, you may come across people worshiping animals ,pests like elephants, rats, and still on other side you will come across concepts parallel to Quantum Physics and Neil s Bohr Theory of nuclear structure and reactions.
On one side ADVAIDA [There is ONLY one ] philosophy is discussed and promoted, still on other side DWAITA [ two--duality] philosophy is discussed and promoted. Hinduism never ever killed or displaced any one, since the person wrote a wrong scripture or did not observe a particular ritual.
Eventually everyone will embrace Hinduism ( SANATHANA DHARMA - Righteousness for ever ) since Hinduism is man s ever lasting search after truth.
Everyone is attracted to Hinduism because :
It allows FREE flow of THOUGHTS.
NO restrictions what so ever.
NO. statement starting with THOU shall not in HINDU scriptures.
NO statement that YOU have to become Hindu or be a HINDU to attain SALVATION.
NO. statement that GOD in Hinduism is the TRUE GOD and all other God s are FALSE GODS.
NOBODY is disowned or thrown out of Hinduism since they wrote a wrong book or preached a wrong philosophy.

this is so absurd :P lol....i'm not a hindu but i know this much about hinduism...hinduism is based on tolerence and non violence====give me that any day!!
what was the point of this Q anyway? have any hindus tried "evangalizing"? i think not! hindus mind their business and know their manners, just the same as Buddhists do...and that is why many people find them to be wayyyy more respectable that christians and muslims who are just pesky salesmen (and not very good ones at that)!

There is no question of joining any religion. What we should do is know the truth. No religion is lying all are telling the truth. Hinduism tells us the truth which recognizes the importance of soul. Its the soul which needs to be taken to it's destination ie God. This is the closest thing to achieving God.
But the Hinduism that we are following to day is jingoism. Those who vouch for it are people with xenophobic character. There are very few, may be less than 1% among the Hindus, who know what a religion should mean to them.

Dude.....Hindu are not converting peoples like Multi Level Marketing system.
....."the religion itself says there are multiple ways to God...
It says Islam is true,Christianity is true and so do all other religions'......
It's mean you free to choose which way that you feel like the best to make you a better person....
For me, personnally, I think Hindu is the best for myself, it will guide me to be a better person, guide me to the path of God...so I'll stick to Hinduism.
You are free to choose your own way dude....christian, judaism, buddhism, hinduism, etc....just believe in your heart....

Their are several reasons for joining Hinduism.
1.Its has equal importance and respect for other religion which Islamin dont have.
2.Hinduism never compel any body and others for any custom and trends .
3.Unlike Islamic, Hindus dont kill animals and other vitals mercylessly.
4.Unlike Islamic Hindus dont teach others that this or that is bad.
5.In ther name of Jehad Islamic only kill innocent and poor people.
6.All terrorist belongs to Islame only.
I dont say that Hindu is above all but atleast with compare to Islamic Hindu is best.( Islamin even dont deserve to be compare with. )
