I do not believe that you can get the 2006 information from the IRS this early in the year. You would need to contact your employer and ask for a copy. About Sept. you can get the information (not a copy) from the IRS by filing a IRS Form 8821.

There are a couple of ways to do this. Obviously the first would be to contact your past employers or if they had someone else doing the payroll for the company, contact them.
You can not contact the IRS until next year regarding your W-2 information.
If you can't contact your past employers, but you have your paycheck stubs showing total earned in 2006, you can file a substitute W-2 (Form 4852) to submit with your tax return using the information on the stub. You will need to fill out a separate one for each employer. They accept these all the time.
The other way would be to contact the Social Security Administration (www.ssa.gov). The only problem with going this route, is they can give you earnings information for each year, meaning you can calculate your FICA taxes, but I don't believe they keep record of your Federal Withholding. So, if you're needing both earnings and income taxes deducted, you will need to go the IRS route, but you might want to check with SSA just to be sure.
Hope this helps!

Your employer is responsible for providing you with your W-2 by February, so you have enough time to file by April 15th, if you did not receive one, you need to talk to your employer. If you received one, and lost it, you will have to ask your employer for a replacement copy. If that isn't possible, and you have a copy of your 06 tax return, you can print a blank 2006 W-2 form from this web site irs.gov and use your return to fill in the information.

Call information and get the state or federal form. This is free to get the form. It will take a little time to get it in the mail.(2-3 Weeks) This is how we got our copy.

You touch the agencies that issued them initially (the agencies the place you labored in those years) and characteristic them deliver new copies. you're able to touch each and each organization in my opinion. the government will purely help in case you have tried to touch the agencies and that they have not provided the copies once you made the requests.
