I am led to believe God loves everyone and has the power to forgive.

If not, why not?

But why doesnt repentence work in Hell? If God is all powerful, he will know Satan (or anyone for that matter) is repenting, even if in Hell

If he doesn't accept repentence once people are in Hell then he couldnt possibly be all-forgiving and all-loving

Spirit Princess - no, the Holy Bible says that Satan was an angel. I wasnt using him as an opposite to God

I think not, because He knew God, saw heaven and all the angels, the cherubim, the seraphim, all of it -- and still chose to reject God. He already made his choice.

Anyway, he was an angel --

"Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!" First Cor. 6:3

"Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?" Heb. 1:14

"Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care, trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things." First Peter 1:10-12

So angels are not treated like us who are born into earthly bodies. They are already spiritual beings.

Also, there might be a lot more to this story that we don't even know. God doesn't tell us everything.

As far as God's not forgiving people who already rejected him and went to hell --

God gave a good example of this in the story of the rich man and Lazarus. Luke 16:19-31. Jesus never presented the option that the rich man could have a second chance once he was dead. The rich man also accepted the fact that his chance was past. Because he didn't want the same thing to happen to his brothers, he asked if someone could return from the dead to tell his brothers to repent *before it was too late*. Jesus explained that if they didn't believe God's word and the prophesies within it, they wouldn't believe even if one was raised from the dead. Of course, he said this knowing that he would be the sacrificial lamb and he would be raised from the dead, yet many still would not believe.

The only way I know to explain it is that God sets certain laws in motion, natural laws as well as spiritual laws, such as Hebrews 9:22 "In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness." Jesus had to become a sinless man and shed his blood in order to pay the price for the sins of man. Even in spite of this, God always honors free will, so this salvation only comes to those who repent. Your question presumes that satan would; however, God is omniscient, so he already knows for a fact who will and will not repent. We can't presume to know more about his laws and plans, and the wisdom of certain courses of action, than He does.

Keep seeking...

Satan will never repent. He knows whats in store for him and that is why more and more people are going to an eternity without God in there life.
One sin is unforgivable and that is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Satan did that when he tried to rise up and make himself higher than the Lord God. He denounced God's supreme power and glory, thus blasphemed the Holy Spirit.

Why can't we repent in hell? Because God isn't in hell. Hell is an eternity without the presence of the Lord Almighty. Repentance is only for us while while we are alive on this earth. The bible says "We all die once and then face judgment."

Satan is just an reference point to put into words the "opposite" of God. God is God and really doesn't have any opposite, but in order to define WHO WE ARE we must first define WHO WE ARE NOT. That can only happen when we have something we call either "bad" or "good" to define that. Does it really make sense to you that God could make anything that was NOT perfect (i.e Satan, people, sin)? If EVERTHING wasn't perfect in God's eyes, then that would mean that God made a mistake. And if God were to make a "MISTAKE" then God wouldn't be God.

devil is likewise a spirit. There are various form of spirits in this worldwide. Spirits can't own without the willingness of the human beings. human beings are only robots made up of distinctive components (flesh, bones, tissues etc.,) and toys of the spirits for his or her video games. whilst one spirit want you to do something, the yet another one insists you to do yet another. the alternative is yours. Spirits own human beings in accordance to the psychological state of the human beings. it truly is an all time phenomena happening in all people. human beings are constantly decrease than the effect of spirits. oftentimes thinking and speaking approximately undesirable matters or undesirable imaginations even for exciting can take severe activates one that think of and talk. All spirits (stable and undesirable) have freedom to own any creature inclusive of human beings. related to human beings they can't own without their willingness. they want a minimum of a tiny reason. If a spirit does not obey the regulation, i assume, it's going to be pulled far off from the circle of spirits and stored separate for particular era.

NO!!! Because he has been judged and condemned.
And only God knows why he judge him so sharpely but desides to spare man despite the several sins he comitts knowingly and unknowingly. But after death no forgivenness.

You idiots are all over the place when the answer is so simple. If Satan repented he would NOT be forgiven for one reason -- Jesus did not die for him, Jesus died for us humans.

Satan's end has already been determined. The bible outlines that his destination is the lake of fire. Therefore, it's a moot point.
