NO, if we did come from monkeys then monkeys would still be turning in to humans. Monkeys wouldn't stop after so many humans was on this earth.

* Monkeys? There is a difference between monkeys and apes.
* obviously modern animals are not descended from other modern animals
* All life on earth shares common ancestry if you go back far enough
* Evolution is a fact; there are no competing scientific theories whatsoever.

I feel comfortable with the massive amounts of evidence that indicates that we did come from something very much like a monkey.

NO, Shannon, we do not believe that. How about, oh I don't know, you try cracking open a book that ISN'T the bible and actually learn something? I'm sure God wouldn't mind you becoming a little more intelligent. Just because you read something other than the bible doesn't mean you HAVE to believe it - just educate yourself about it.

Oh grow up...we evolved from other apelike creatures...slowly...step by step...throughout the millenia and more. We did not pop out of a monkey's womb one day.
