Would someone please translate the following phrase into Latin: "An ounce of pretension is worth a pound of manure."

Uncia and libra are both nominative case in this construction.

The above answer is incorrect.
"Superbia" means "(excessive) pride", "pretense" is "simulatio".
I even looked it up to be 100% certain.
The correct translation would be " Uncia simulationis valet libram stercoris."
Instead of "valet" (= is worth), "aequat" (= makes up for, is as good/bad as)could be used:
"Uncia simulationis aequat librae stercoris" but I'm not too sure about the case of the object there, to be honest.
