Cut out any fatty foods you may eat, half your calorie intake, excercise regularly ( atleast 1 hour a day) also if you get hungry..eat fruit or something very low calorie and when you get thirsty, drink water. Within a month or two you'll see quite a big difference

Hi
My name is Cecilia, im from Sweden.
First i´d just like to say that i was your age and had a Bmi of 31 so i know exately what its like. im 21 now.
i want you to know that you might be overweight but its not that much! it really isnt, and it isnt so diffucult to fix either.
but here the deal, you need help from adults, do not do this on you own!!
i did, and what can i say, i developed realy bad anorexia, just because i didnt know what i was doing and i could have had avoid it if my diet would just have been supervised by an adult. so for your own sake, dont do this on your own, please.

when i say you question i just couldnt pass by, it could have been me writing that, i know how hopeless i can feel.

there is so much i wanna say i dont know where to start.
i have tried every diet out there and what i learned is that is not about food, i was obese because i had other issues and i showed in my eating habits. and the only thing that finally help me was the Dr. phil 7 steps to permanent weight loss plan. because it is not a diet it is a lifestyle change. in order to maintain it you need to make lots of small changes to you lifestyle and keep em up. i dont need to tell you what to do, you know the key to weight loss is to eat less fat and suger and to exercise, but its more than that, its mental.

i dont recomed you buying Dr.phils book, but i do recomend you to get his sons weight loss book for teens, and get it togehter with you mom or dad and involve them. tell them how you feel and ask for help, ask for support.
you can just go into any bookstore and ask for that book and they´ll help you.

i wish you the best of luck in becoming a healtier person.
and remeber you dont make any changens just to lose weight, you make them so you can be more healty and then the weight loss will be a consequense of that.

the BMI is deceiving, get your body fat percentage checked. the goal should be to have a below average body fat % which for your age would be around 13%

EXERCISE!!!!!!! And watch what you eat.....Make sure you do it in a healthy way. Overdoing yourself will put stress on your body and probably cause you to gain weight.
