No because Jesus didn't kill himself, he was crucified. Jesus had to suffer for our sins. The Catechism of the Catholic Church says on this subject.
597 The historical complexity of Jesus' trial is apparent in the Gospel accounts. The personal sin of the participants (Judas, the Sanhedrin, Pilate) is known to God alone. Hence we cannot lay responsibility for the trial on the Jews in Jerusalem as a whole, despite the outcry of a manipulated crowd and the global reproaches contained in the apostles' calls to conversion after Pentecost. Jesus himself, in forgiving them on the cross, and Peter in following suit, both accept "the ignorance" of the Jews of Jerusalem and even of their leaders. Still less can we extend responsibility to other Jews of different times and places, based merely on the crowd's cry: "His blood be on us and on our children!", a formula for ratifying a judicial sentence. As the Church declared at the Second Vatican Council:
. . . [N]either all Jews indiscriminately at that time, nor Jews today, can be charged with the crimes committed during his Passion. . . [T]he Jews should not be spoken of as rejected or accursed as if this followed from holy Scripture.

No. Sacrificing yourself and committing suicide are two different things. Suicide means physically, intentionally killing yourself (ex:shooting yourself in the head, jumping off a chair with a rope around your neck tied to the rafters, etc). Sacrificing yourself means that you're accepting the punishment or consequences on behalf of someone else because it's necessary. It doesn't mean you're pulling the trigger, so to speak, you're just stepping in for them.
As for suicide bombers, they're creating unnecessary problems and committing murder when they intentionally harm or kill non-believers. There's no respect earned in that.

I see your point. You must remember that this was Jesus' predestination and only purpose for existence.
Also He sacrificed himself for the lives of all people before, during and after his existence. Not just one group but all people. The satanist, the atheist, the Jewish, the gentile, the christian, the Buddhist, the Mormon, the catholic, the Muslim....
He did not sacrifice himself to destroy nonbelievers but to save them. His was an unselfish act not even for his own good. He was not interested in receiving rewards in heaven or to be a martyr. His goal was to take atonement for our sins. He also did not kill himself. He was killed by others. Which we must remember was their predestination.
He died as a result of being who he was. He did not die to kill others. he died to save others from eternal death. He died so that we could live.

You said it sacrifice, His death paid the price for humanity to have access to Heaven, not blow up a bus. It was predetermined before the foundation of the Earth.
Now we can go to Heaven and not Hell.

I would love to see you standing in front of the Judge, Jesus, with this argument.
Maybe I shall -- that is going to be entertaining. My goodness comparing what Jesus did to the blowing up of bombs -- you ought to try to employ the "I'm insane defense."
The present world problems indicate that we are very close to the end -- have fun thinking about your judgment.

In order for it to be suicide Jesus would have had to kill himself by his own hand. He didn't nail himself to the cross...he knew it was his destiny, but even before he was crucified he asked God, "If I can be spared of this spare me, but if not let your will be done." Sinners killed Jesus.

Do you live in the Middle East? One of the Arab countrys perhaps? You have to be a Muslim, because most other people think coherently.

Jesus was willing to sacrifice himself to cover the sins of mankind. He didn't blow himself up, shoot himself, blow up any buildings or planes and take innocent people with Him.
He was crucified by others and didn't take anyone with him.
Please don't compare apples and oranges.
