LOL...ahhh, patience....

In my earlier years I thought (and others did too) that patience was something I had abundant measure of LOL Now, Pride, I KNEW I had a prob with....yet, one day I kept getting scripture that dealt with patience....I began searching my mind as well as asking God whom the scriptures were for (not for me, I thought righteously)

Oh yeah, I found out that I too had impatience in my life, lol

And it was about that time that I started noticing that whenever I thought or said :I NEVER had that happen/I had never done that, etc.,. the very thing I mentioned "never" about, happened! LOL Oh yeah, I have had MANY life lessons and expect them till the day I pass on! :)

pssssst: warning! Never say "never" for it will reach out and bite ya!

I disagree. I am an extremely impatient person and have found it to be a practical character trait. I am not one to wait for what I want, preferring to just go out and "make it happen" so to speak. By attacking my goals I either achieve them faster or realize faster that my goal is unattainable, thus freeing up my time to focus on a new goal. Why wait for anything? Life is too short.

Patience is mine as well.

BTW: at first, I thought you were talking about the Life Lesson figurines from the TLC channel. I love those little things :-)

I have a few:

patience

be nice to people (you never know who they know!)

keep a sense of humour about everything

the impossible is merely improbable

When on the roads, assume everyone else is an idiot (they're not really, but it makes for a safer journey!!)

The only one that can truly make you happy is yourself

Worry. . .I have been known to worry too much, and most often things I worry about never even take place or it turns out to not be as bad as I thought it would. I am learning each day to turn my cares over to the Lord knowing with assurance that all is well. It is hard not to worry . . .but I am learning to accept the peace that God offers.

Oh Yeah, patience is definitely something I lack and is tried on a daily basis.

Life is hard- unspeakably brutal in fact, but the karmic rewards for overcoming it are immense.

Be kind to everyone. Treat them better than they treated you. Help people the right way. Properly helped, people don't even know that they WERE helped.
