i'm asking this on behalf of my sister who is 14 years old this year. she is 5'' (152 cm) and 94 pounds (42 kg). she said she has been at the same height for one year which means she has not been growng. but when she went to this height prediction site, they said that she'd be 5''2 (157 cm) when she's 18 years old. my mom is 5'' and my dad is 5''9. so do u think she'll still be able to grow or its just that its not her time to shoot up yet? or she has stopped growing. (she got her period when she was 12 years old). thanks!

p.s.: she drinks 1 cup of milk everynight =)

Tell your sister to have some patience. She is no where close to being done growing. Growth usually happens in spurts so it is not unusual to go a year or longer with no change in height. She is only 14!

Her height is predetermined by genetics. She can stunt it by improper diet but there is nothing she can do to be taller without medical intervention. A doctor will not intervene unless she will be of greatly less than normal height (5' does not qualify). A female reaches full height at 18, so she has 4 years yet to grow.

Tell her not to worry about this. My son went through a "lul", but now is 6'4". When he finally did start to grow, his bones grew faster than the muscles and he had horrible leg cramps, so tell her not to worry about it. Besides, it's what in the package that counts. She is the perfect size for her.
