My wife forced me to watch the series, and I must admit I liked it. The series finale was outstanding. Each of the characters (except Carrie) evolved into what they were totally against early in the series. Miranda who never had time or wanting for anything but career learned what family was and embraced it. Charlotte, always preoccupied with how the world would look at her, ends up with a non-magazine cover marriage. Samantha, probably my favorite character (I am a guy afterall), discovers the difference between love and sex. Finally there is Carrie. I am prepared to be blasted for this. I felt during the whole series that she was the weakest of the characters. Notice I said characters not actors. The finale went on to support my stance as her character showed no evolution at all. She depended on men, needed men to make herself better (for crikey's sake, when the Russian hit her she did not really stand up for herself), and in the end she once again just ends up with a man that made the choice to be with her. She never showed any true strength at anytime. Regardless of that, the rest of the characters made the series great.

Actually, no I didn't like it. I never cared for Mr. Big - I could not understand why Carrie kept continuously pushing him away and pulling him back - because he wasn't good enough for her. I felt the the opposite with the Russian artist - that Aleksandr Petrovsky was too good for Carrie - that he deserved a more worldly woman to spend his time with. I had hoped Carrie would end up with either Burger or Aidan - because I felt both of those guys were as good as it was going to get for her. Furthermore, the chances of Big finding the right hotel and Carrie just happening to be at the front desk at the same time - are slim to none. It just seemed unrealistic - like they just wanted to end it and they thought of the sappiest ending possible. I did, however, enjoy the other girls' endings.

I liked the season finale. I wanted Carrie and Mr. Big to end up together. She just didn't seem right with the other guy.

i liked the finale cried like a baby! loved the part where she saw big and said hi like she was finally taking a breath and her whole world was ok again. the only thing was i think the love scene with carrie could have been longer with big and not have the comedy around it i mean we waited 6 years c'mon give us more! the other thing was samantha at the end banging smith thought it was tacky, a sensuous scene would have been better.

I liked how it ended for everyone but Carrie. I never thought John really loved her the way she loved him, which is why none of her other relationships worked. I still cry when Charlotte and Harry find out about their baby.

I liked it although I always kind of hoped Carrie and Aiden would end up together. Never really cared for Big all that much.

I loved the season finale.
I liked that Carrie and Mr. Big got together.

If you buy the DVD, you will see that there are multiple endings.

I liked the one aired on tv the best.
